From the publication of the book until 31st October, 2007, all spoilers for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows must be under an lj-cut. Accidents can, and do happen, but please take a moment to think about what you are posting, and if anyone who have not read the book would take offense to the post. If you are asked to cut for spoilers, do so, even if you don't think it's spoilery. It's better to err on the side of caution.
Also, from today, the icons you use when posting to this community may not contain spoilers until 31st October.
I reserve the right to delete any posts that violate this rule if the poster does not correct it. Once Halloween is over, we go back to our regular programming. :-)

The group is predominantly slash, but Malfoy/self (i.e. Lucius/Lucius) and only one Malfoy are allowed as well (i.e. a Narcissa-centric gen fic). No het is allowed, unless it is a secondary pairing.

If you don't want your fics to be archived, please state that in your headers. We will of course make you aware of our wish to archive your work, so you will get an opportunity then to decline if you are against it for some reason and have forgotten to include that in the headers. For the moment, the only pairings being considered for archiving are Lucius/Severus, Severus/Draco, and Lucius/Draco.
5) If thou pimpeth thy community...
It is allowed, as long as a picture/fic/conversation topic/etc. is included with it. No posting for the sole purpose of pimping. And please post any big banners etc. under a lj-cut.
6) All fics must use proper spelling and punctuation.
We're not demanding that every fic is checked by three different beta-readers and Brit-picked on top of that, just that it is readable without making our heads hurt, okay? Punctuation is your friend. Punctuation and proper use of caps and spelling tells the reader how to interpret the text. There's a big difference between 'eats, shoots and leaves' and 'eats shoots and leaves', as well as 'I helped my uncle jack off the horse' and 'I helped my Uncle Jack off the horse'.
7) All NC-17 works must be friend-locked.
7.b) Active as of 31st May, 07: incest and underage stories/art must also be locked.
This is the most important rule, as this community is watched by some who aren't of age. There is a reason why those 17 or younger are not allowed in, after all.
All newbies are expected to have read the rules. Checking the user info is a smart thing to do when you join a community, and we can't see why that wouldn't be the case here. We do NOT want to have to ban anyone - this community is for everyone! Any changes to the rules will be announced in the community.
