Community Profile

About the community :

We are not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill blinkie community. We are tired of not knowing which communities are open or closed, what blinkies should be requested where, and people constantly not reading rules, and breaking rules, and causing havoc. Thus, we created this community primarily for news on the blinkie front, and to run a community the way it SHOULD be run.

If you open or close your blinkie community, post and let us know. We'd like to keep a running tally of who is open and taking requests and who is not. We will also be happy to point people to tutorials, or answer any blinkie-related questions.

What types of posts are acceptable :
* Announcements of closing/opening communities
* Blinkie tutorials or links to tutorials found elsewhere
* Community reviews
* Information on where to request original blinkies.
* Maker for hire posts
* General blinkie community annoucements
* General questions about blinkie communties

What is not acceptable :

* no pornography (icons, blinkies, graphics, etc.)
* no discussing how to illegally obtain software. You will be banned automatically, there is no exceptions to this rule.
* no deleting comments. If what you are saying can not be seen by all then you shouldn't be commenting with it at all.
* no screening comments
* no removing the comment feature for your posts. This is reserved for mods only.

Basic Community Rules :

* Post the link to your community. Use the "lj user=" tag. It should be written like this: blinkilicious (of course, using the user name of the community.)
* ONLY post blinkie communities. No icon communities, no dolls, just blinkie communities.
* No off-topic posts. This is a blinkie community. Anything non-related will be deleted.
* The mods reserve the right to delete any post not following the rules specifically without notice.
* The three strike rule applies. There will be NO drama. Take it elsewhere. No exceptions.
* Please speak proper English when you request. Do not speak "1337" speak or speak like a 12 year old (i.e. not spelling simple words such as "you", "are" and "any". This is simply and utterly ridiculous and won't be tolerated here.
* If you are posting more than 3 (three) images, please put them behind an lj cut.
* Be polite to everyone in this community. Have manners. Give credit. Please and thank you are your friends. We will not tolerate drama

All IP addresses will be logged in the event of blinkie thieves wandering upon this community. When and if that happens, we can have the IP address banned by LiveJournal.com. This action is for the benefit of the users.
