Magnification Software Freeware
For some reason, the promotional version of MAGic and my computer do not get along. It takes forever to start and shut down, it freezes on me, the mouse goes crazy sometimes, when I use the MAGic keys to navigate, instead of the mouse, it doesn't react- and then goes so fast I can't keep up.

I need a screen magnifier to use in class for the next month. I don't like Supernova, I've already used the trial version of Zoomtext, and the Windows built in magnifier doesn't help. Any of you have suggestions for a free version of screen magnification software, that will magnify the entire screen, not just where the mouse is, and that can be controlled using the keyboard? Or any hints of what's going on with MAGic? I've asked my Uni to purchase a full version of MAGic for me, and now I'm worrying that I'm going to have problems with the full version as well.

You might look through the Adaptech Research Network's database of "free and cheap" accessibility tools, for enlarging programs, and see if something there suits your needs: http://adaptech.dawsoncollege.qc.ca/fandi_enewmagnify.php.

Check out the Screen Magnifiers Homepage; the guy who runs that keeps an up-to-date list of magnifier downloads.
