1. Crop, Sharpen Edges + Edit -> Fade Sharpen Edges...60-70%. Or whatever.
2. New Levels layer.

RGB: 47/1.29/255.

3. New Curves layer.
RGB: I, 119. O, 139.

4. New Color Balance layer.
Midtones: +14/+11/+12.
Shadows: +14/+5/+14

5. New Selective Color layer.
Reds: -13/-12/-9/+37.
Whites: +41/+45/+41/-38.
Neutrals: +7/+4/-4/+17.

6. Duplicate Curves layer, drag to top.
ALL DONE! :D

These are absolutely stunning!
I have PSP c2 or whatever it's called and I'm just now learning to use it. Would you be willing to detail where and how to execute those tools you mentioned? This has been my favorite look yet - you've captured it beautifully! I'd appreciate any help you'd be willing to give!

of course!
1. filter->sharpen->sharpen edges.
and the rest of them, you can find them by going to Layer->new adjustment layer. :) to execute them, you click 'levels' or whatever, and then when the 'new layer' popup comes up, just click ok.

For the levels tool, you see the 3 boxes at the bottom of the window? basically, plug in the numbers I gave you from left to right.

For curves, click any point on the line, and then type in the numbers I gave you into the 'input' and 'output' fields.

For Color balance, select the 'midtones' checkbox at the bottom of the window, and then plug in the numbers at the top from left to right. same thing with the 'shadows' checkbox.

For Selective Color, see the drop-down menu at the top? Select 'red', and then plug in the numbers I gave you from top to bottom. Make sure you don't forget the + and the -! Then do the same for 'whites', and 'neutrals'.

AND last but not least, to Duplicate the curves layer, you click on the layer in the layers menu on the right, and then hit ctrl J. if you have a mac, I dunno the keyboard command. :( but you can also go layer->duplicate layer. :)

Ok, I think thats it! I'm not sure how much exactly you know about ps, so I tried to explain it the best I could. I hope its enough! Don't hesitate to come back and ask more questions if you don't understand. :)

for textures, you can copy the texture, make a new layer in the icon and then paste it.
screen is a layer setting. so, when you look at your layer window there should be a drop down menu at the top that says 'normal'. you can change these for each layer. to set a layer to screen, you can click the screen option. if you are putting an image to screen, you'll need to duplicate the layer and then set it to screen. you should change the layer setting of your textures too.

did that make sense? lol. :P
