XD And some wasabi pea's (of which I can only eat a few at a time - wasabi's the only spicy that actualy bothers me...), and some soy crisp thingies and a gift card for the Macaroni Grill, and some of Moe's shed flight featehrs (which Bea (the snapdragon Kristen rescued from her last concert (they were centerpieces) immediately claimed). :3 *muches on Pocky*

Hey! Looks like it's time for another big ole post is random post!

Next, the graphics/art front. I finished the 'portraits' I wanted to do of Ichigo, Rukia, Inoue, Ishida, and Renji a while back, and forgot to mention it. Thus I'm mentioning it now...in the big ole post of randomness. Seemed apt.

And, lastly, about a month back, Debbie posted about the absolutely adorable plushie that she'd bought for Annie made by pheleon. I went to her site and fell instantly in love with one of the Rukia plushies that she had made. I had to have this plushie, so I bought her, and she arrived today. So, I thought I would share some pictures, if for nothing else than you really need to see how absolutely beautiful her craftsmanship is. *___*

Stephen Chow Co-Produces Dragon Ball Movie

This is why the Hong Kong film industry produce the worst crap than their TV Dramas; it lost its touch before Jet Li, Chow Yun Fat and Jackie Chan been ask to make movies for Hollywood. Dragon Ball will just turn out to be the next Kung-fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer. The storyline is just pretty much says it will do horribly on the wide screen.

Those of you who have known me long enough may remember that around 2000-2001(maybe as late as 2002) I tried my hand at writing.  Not fanfic-I gave that up at around 17 or so-but original fic.  But then the perils of being an English major with philosophy and psychology as double minors (full minors, not a split minor) took over my life, and I was, at any point in time, working on 2-3 papers for school with no time to write anything for myself, and when I finally graduated two years ago, the thought of writing when I didn't have to gave me hives.  (For that matter, I had no time to read.  A Regency or category romance could take me a week and a half, if not longer.  I remember that it took me a month to read an Elizabeth Peters book at one point.  Probably why I started reading so much manga.  I could squeeze in time for manga and comics.  I also remember that it took me a week to watch the first disc of Wolf's Rain.)

But back to the point!

The last few weeks, I've been kind of wanting to write again, but having trouble thinking of anything where I thought I'd actually be happy with a result.

So, anyone want to give me prompts to see if anything can get me motivated?  If fanfic instead of original fic, I doubt I could write anything but canon based gen or crackfic.

Somebody could also try to get me to write that Saiyuki crackfic I keep not being able to start where Kougaiji and Sanzo learn that Gojyo taught Goku and Lirin strip poker.

This is the 3rd time I've posted in a weeeek... OMMMMMMMGGGG. It's almost like when I first got muh eLJay.

IRL: MY DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT YESTAHDAY
I went to the doctor yesterday on a whim because I've been having embarrassing/uncontrollable/aggravating/muscle pulling twitches that pull my shoulders up and down really quickly or make my head jerk down (looks like I'm nodding my head). Sometimes I do it, sometimes I don't. Apparently, I'm a freak; I had all three doctors in the office and the nurse practitioner talking to me. So I had some blood work done and I go Wednesday for a CT scan of my brain. Oh dear. >.< I'm nervous. It's either: how I cope with stress, hypothyroidism (which would explain a lot, really), or something in my brain. Hopefully, it's the first thing. I go back in 2 weeks to hear the results. Let us pray everything is okay.

Where's my DGM? I'm freaking out over here.

I'm so productive I should just keel over. I'm making tremendous progress on my original project The Last Dreamer and I'm working on Namine's Notes for Another Side until the Twilight Town sequence is done. I'm starting Oswald's story in Odin Sphere (this game gets much easier once you use an infinite health cheat) and I'm approaching my fourth full moon in Persona 3 and my warlock is approaching level 40 in WoW, and will soon beat out my sad druid for highest-level Hordeling.

I'm also now working on a sekrit project for okroginator, because she said nice things about me and I missed her birthday earlier this month. I also enabled my birthday to display in my profile page because I don't know why it wasn't. You all owe me nice things okay not.

...I guess I should also apply to my three jobs for the week.

BUT FIRST

I keep trying to sit back and like, evaluate the past few months of my life and come up with some sort of amusing anecdote to type here, but I find that the longer I stay away from the whole livejournal culture of baring my heart and soul to the internet + divulging the deep dark secrets of what meme I am not posting or what I had for breakfast, the harder I find it to actually sit and type this up.

It just...I dunno. Feels impersonal to a degree. Maybe I just don't have anything to prove anymore.

Life is...I dunno, it's life. I get up, I work, I see friends, I think up ways to make some more money, I talk with Nic, I goof off on Gaia or WoW (or both) and I go about my business. There are the same ups and downs that I've always had, but I've found that making less of a deal about them actually makes the silliness of it all go away a bit quicker.

Or maybe I just grew up a bit.

Or... maybe I'm just genuinely happy at the moment. Having Nic come into my life has just been...He makes me happy. His obnoxious little quirks make me giggle (even when he is being wildly inappropriate,) and the fact that he can put up with some of mine is just a rare thing. I dunno, I'm not going to paint this more than anything than what it is -- we're taking things as they come and letting them develop as they need to, but I'm content with whatever happens. Gasp -- someone who isn't trying to play games with me? I know! Shocking!

And anyone that can take my teasing for what it is and give it back is sort-of a keeper in my books.

Lalalala. Asher is at synagogue with his dad. Sophie and I are eating challah with candy sprinkles. One of my neighbors put up a very ugly sign on his front lawn with paint-scrawl reading "No Dog Mess on MY YARD!" A dog poop would be less ugly. And damn, this is Louisiana--it rains every day--no dog poop survives one hour before being washed away. Cheer up, world. It's only dogshit.

Resulting in utterly fascinating and original scenes like this:

Miller showed a clip of The Spirit with Sarah Paulson's Ellen Dolan in an office. She comes on to him, telling him, "Keep the mask on. Something tells me it might be better that way."

Ellen tells the Spirit, "But we don't even know your real name."

To that he responds, "I'll tell you my real name," just as a Detective shows up with an new assignment and a heavily Baltimore-accented sexy assistant.

And there's one comic book movie scratched from the list.  I guess Miller decided that it'd been long enough since he begged for attention by instructing an artist to draw a close-up panties shot.
