Community Info

Hello, and welcome to bleachmangatest! What is this community, exactly? Why, it's a Weekly Icontest based on the manga Bleach, by Kubo Tite. Now, what seperates this community from other Bleach Icontests? Only images from the manga are allowed! That means no anime caps, no scans from any anime magazines; only manga.

1. You must be a member to submit icons and/or vote! So join please.
2. At the time, each member is allowed to submit three submissions, since the community is just starting out and it's no fun to only have three icons to vote on.
3. All icons must meet LJ standards: No bigger than 100x100 pixels and 40KB.
4. Please make your icons fresh for this icontest; we don't want anything months old!
5. DO NOT SHOW ANYONE YOUR ICONS BEFORE THE RESULTS ARE POSTED. DO NOT ASK PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR YOU. If you are discovered doing this, you will be disqualified from the current round, and if this keeps happening, you will be banned from the community.
6. Please don't be rude. If you didn't win, deal. Or at least don't complain here.
7. Icons submitted here are available for taking. Just please credit the creator and wait until the results are posted before taking.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...
8. Icons must be of images from the manga! No anime, anime magazine scans, fanart, doujinshi, ect.

This is done just like most other icontests. But, if you have any confusion, here is how it's done:

Easy, yeah? (Just remember to remove the extra spaces!

1. Vote for your top three favorite icons (unless otherwise stated; weeks with less might only ask for first place), as well as the special category (if included). Please don't vote for an icon just because it has your favorite character in it, vote on the icons you think are best.
2. Plase don't vote for yourself.
3. Do not vote for an icon more than once; meaning do not put the same icon for 1st and 2nd. This is pretty much common sense. However, it is okay to vote for an icon twice if you are also voting for the special category (For example, you can put an icon for 1st and Special Category)
4. In the event of a tie, a tiebreaker voting session will occur

Submissions due by: Friday, 4pm (PST)
Voting: Friday, 5pm (PST) - Sunday, 4pm (PST)
Winners Announced: Sunday, 3pm (PST)
