Ok, working on his trident and am having a little trouble and thought maybe someone could give me a hand, I have a good base and do not know where to go from here, I am thinking that if i can do the tassel part correctly witch i was thinking of getting a cheap blue wig from a Halloween store it would look better but after that i am at a loss. I will paint the trident part and am wondering if that will look good or will i get alot of flak from everyone. Sadly i do not have access to woodworking tools so i can not do anything wood wise. But anyone have any more ideas? Thanks to all and also here is the pic so far

Does anyone here have any suggestions where I can find a decent wig for Aizen? I know there's a HK seller on ebay that has them along with cosplaymagic, but looking for other ideas, or least a wig style close enough to use to look around wig shops with.

I'm considering doing Lt. Aizen from the Turn Back the Pendulum" manga arc.

Thought I'd share!

First up, thanks to everyone for all their help with my last question. The haori in question is coming along nicely and with the correct coloured lining!

I'm up to painting the designs on the back and hem and was wondering if anyone has any stencils (or large images) of either the gotei 13 symbol that goes on the back or of the bits that go around the hem. I don't mind if the emblem is blank or has a different division's number in it - that can be changed easily enough - but an outline of the emblem would be extremely useful.

Thanks for the help guys, I promise lots of con pics when I'm done (which is hopefully very soon, because the con is this weekend... eek!)

Animania is coming up in less than two weeks and I have finally decided to get my lazy behind into gear and make a start on my costume :P  Unfortunately I have run into a small hurdle  and could use some community help.

Does anyone know what colour the lining of Unohana's captain's haori is? I've tried looking it up but have been getting mixed results. I've seen all sorts of colours from pink to red to brown. Any insight and also any screencaps so I can match it would be most welcome.

Also, to anyone out there who has cosplayed Unohana before, what colour did you line the Haori with? Did you use a different colour or did you just stick with white?

I come bearing pictures from Friday and Saturday of Otakon! They're mostly of the Saturday Bleach photoshoot. Although, I have a favor to ask of anyone who also went to Saturday's shoot: we had to leave halfway through, so I'm missing pics from Divisions 6 (when they brought out Renji's bankai), 10, 11, 12, 13, and characters from Hueco Mundo. If anyone could send some my way, I'd appreciate it greatly. Hey all.

I've become pretty interested in trying to cosplay Urahara for the next con I attend (not sure which one that will be, so I have plenty of time to try and get this right). I already have the hat and am working on the haori right now.

I do have one question though: without using a wig, what's the best way to achieve Urahara's hair style? I'm not really partial to wigs and would like to avoid using one if at all possible. However, when it comes to styling my hair.. well, I'm a pretty clueless male. Haha. I'm not sure what kind of cut I should try to ask for/get, or how to actually achieve the actual look. My hair is almost to my shoulders in length at the moment, so I would imagine that's long enough.

Can anyone help add information about Bleach cosplay and Bleach cosplay at conventions to the Bleach article on Fan History? My understanding is that there is Bleach is a large cosplay community and it would be wonderful to see that reflected in the article as it would help in developing a better overall picture of the fandom.

Additionally, if anyone has any cosplay images, feel free to upload them and create a category for the convention so that people can see them. At the moment, we only have pics from ACEN. Or feel free to put your cosplay pictures on the related convention page. :)

Hey guys. Just thought I'd share some photos of the Soi Fon and Yoruichi cosplays my friend and I wore to Gencon last weekend. We managed to get runner up best group in the cosplay contest =)
