Notes: Well. This one took forever, didn't it? Thanks again to everyone who's reading it. I will do my very best to finish before NaNoWriMo starts on November 1. If I don't, then we'll have a month or so hiatus (unless I don't do NaNoWriMo…)
Summary: Sam attacks Gene in a violent and terrible way. The next morning, he doesn't remember anything, and the Guv isn't about to remind him--or tell him why he thinks Sam needs to spend more time in the boot of the Cortina. Just as Sam thinks the Guv has gone off his rocker, someone he loves dies, his prospect of getting home is practically destroyed, and in 2006 he's getting a visitor no one wants. Oh, and the Guv has started having uncomfortably pleasant dreams of Sam, even as he wonders if his DI is a psychopath.

Before I go to bed I shall share my monthly doodle off my white board calendar! I meant to do last month (it was a tree and me asleepin' under it) but I forgot to upload it and then I erased it. I *just* did my October calender today because I'm slacker so I got to draw a bigger picture than usual. It's Halloween related...sorta.

hide F's christmas presents

iron suit and put away
take dress to dry cleaners
mail packages
write fandom_grammar feature about verbs
come up with list of questions for St. Joe's open house
do church website research (or inquire RE putting off till next month)
change sheets
swiffer one more time before F arrives
make chai; make hummus
I also sent out two submissions today. Setting my sights too high, but we'll see.
And now I'm going to bed.

Holy crap. I just turned on 'Ghost Whisperer' for a few minutes, and it was like I went back in time to 1999. The cast was: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jamie Kennedy, Rachel Leigh Cook, and Jeremy London. Wow.
Remember when all the starlets had three names? That was kind of a weird trend.

Life is hectic. It always is. And I seem to altogether enjoy making it more hectic when possible. I have hopes for a marathon at the end of November, despite my less then stellar training as of late. I know without a doubt that I can swing a half-mara, but pushing for the full-mara might be, well, pushing it. *shrugs*
Doesn't mean that I'm not going to try anyway.
So that's the first thing.
The second thing is, quite obviously, my class. Which doesn't take up nearly as much time as one might think. It basically requires my Mondays and Wednesdays from after work until about 10:30, and then a few hours on Sundays. Not too bad.
Following that, is the still not yet begun volunteering that I have to do at a local hospital. This keeps falling to the wayside on account of sleep, and other such trivialities. If I ever plan to get into a PA program, this needs to happen. And STAT.
However, I've been missing my creative endeavors, and as of late, I've really been getting the bug to write again. I have that mostly outlined full-length script that hasn't gone anywhere; and a graphic-novel that Magus and I are planning on working on together (so far he has done all of the actual work on scripting out some of the first story, I've just been clinging along for the ride and providing brainstorming sessions). Additionally, I started a short-story recently that is languishing in a notebook somewhere, and have a mostly completely DW fanfic that will probably never see the light of day.
All of this is lead up to the fact that for four years I have been aware of a little experiment known as Nanowrimo and damn it! I want to try it! This is probably not the year for me to attempt such a thing. But then again, what year is ever really a good year, hmm? So, I'm going to spend the rest of this month deciding whether or not I have the time and energy to devote to such a task, and maybe flexing my writing muscles a bit by working on that short, and on the GN with the hubby. Meanwhile, I will keep number 6 of the "about" section of the nanowrimo site in mind: 6) This is not as scary as it sounds. Because, really? It couldn't possibly be. Right?

man, if it weren't for all these people wanting me to work (here at work) it would be a super-great day. but even with them, it's pretty great.

У меня всё же потрясающая способность игнорировать собственные ощущения.
Это не счастливо-расслабленное состояние, это я так продолжаю болеть. Потому и делать ничего не хочется, у организма тупо нет сил.
Никуда не пошла, слушаю Silly Wizard, кушаю тортик, решаю физику, читаю всякого. Сейчас рисовать пойду.
