I'm watching more Burn Notice, which continues to be entertaining brain candy. And Bruce Campbell continues to be the most amusing of them all.
The cat is sitting in the sink. I don't even know sometimes.
Hot Obama RFD gives good hugs. He also curses like a sailor. I'm gonna marry that man.
I have fic at beta. It's very exciting. I should probably be working on finishing my
If my West Wing season 4 DVDs don't get here soon, I don't know what I'm going to do. I require more Toby. Also, more Sam. I keep re-reading this awesomely not-good longfic where he's held hostage by the KKK and then needs comforting and...yeah, my fictional kinks are very easy, you guys. Here, I'll provide a list:
* Pretty, broken boys. Bonus points if they were abused as children or addicted to drugs. Or, you know, held hostage for long periods of time and had the crap beaten out of them. And then the snuggling to make it better!
* Drug-addiction stories in general.
* Snarky, witty dialogue
* Smart, sarcastic women
* Family interactions that show signs of being written by someone who actually HAS a family
* ...um, really all of those are secondary as long as there are pretty, broken boys. Suffering. The snuggling is even optional if the rich, tasty pain is sweet enough.
I'm deeply ashamed of myself for this, since, you know, angsty manpain is the one thing the world of fiction never runs low on, and I really ought to be supporting other stories. And I do try! But sometimes the lizard brain just wants to be fed with, say, John Sheppard getting hooked on alien heroin and having to claw his way back to civilization.
I'll just be over there.
