Hair salons?
Hi,

Despite having lived here in Blacksburg for almost 10 years now, I have never had my hair cut here. I'm looking for a nice place that will do a quality job on a simple cut and where the stylists are well trained enough that they could answer questions I have about the style I want and be able to make suggestions. So what's everyone's favorite place? Thanks

I have been to Tivon, Classic Image, and Images by B - all are equally well.
But I now go to Chamar, which is a beauty school in Christiansburg. It's $7 for a haircut, $30-40 for all over dye. They spend a lot of time on your hair and I have received the best haircuts there.

I go to Innovations, which is by the price's fork food lion near Foxridge.

I love Dawn from there. She's this bigger lady that tells you everything she is doing with your hair and when you don't know a lot about hair, that certainly helps. She asks you plenty of questions rather than just cutting your hair. I'm a guy so I have no idea how she does with women's hair but I've reccommmended her to friends without fail so far.

Go to Jere at the Uppper Room in Blacksburg. The phone number is 540-577-1724. He is absolutely great with color and cuts!
