| Description: | A community dedicated to bringing together Black people who show interest in Korean entertainment. |
First and foremost, I want to say this: This group was NOT meant to segregate against non-black people. By all means, if you aren't black and want to join, please do so. I didn't make this community for that purpose.
I made this community for black people- especially those that felt ostracized amongst their communities, family and friends- to be able to connect with other black people interested in the same thing as them- in this case, Korean (K) Entertainment, especially K-Pop. I know I find it hard being one of the few in my city who like it and it makes me wish I knew more like me so I wouldn't feel so ostracized. I mainly want everyone to make friends, share information on their likes and dislikes and be able to discuss not only K-Pop, but their feelings as a black fan of K-Pop and other Korean entertainment and what that means to them.
~Networking, meetups, etc. are all encouraged.
~Post articles, videos, music, pics, fanart, fanfic, fan accounts (if any of you lucky ones have the chance to go to any events!), basically anything. But please keep it K-Entertainment related. This includes the branch-offs outside of Korea. Yet, feel free to post about TVXQ's exploits as Tohoshinki, Super Junior M, the Wondergirls opening for the Jonas Bros., BoA's American debut- they're all still K-Artists, it counts.
~I'll say it again: I created this comm mainly for blacks, but ALL races are allowed. There will be no "Wait, your not black, get out of here!" in this comm. We know what it's like to be discriminated against, and we hate it... so why should we do the same?
Second, racist remarks will NOT be tolerated.
Outside of:
*Talking of ones experiences dealing with racism.
*Articles from the KPop world relevant to racism.
*Civil discussions on racism.
The MOMENT I get a report on blatant racism (WITH PROOF) amongst members of this comm against other members, no matter their race, I will act accordingly.
No malicious bashing allowed. You can express your dislike for so and so group, so and so member of so and so group. Hell, I'll even allow cursing them out. But the moment it goes too far, I will also act accordingly:
Ex. I'd like to string up so and so and cut her till she doesn't even look like the a person anymore.
These post will most definitely be deleted and the perpetrator may face being banned from the community until further notice.
With that being said, HELLO!! ^__^ And welcome.
