This RP is for ages 18+. All the characters portrayed are 18+. It's still new, but it will contain homoeroticism, foul language, and most likely some violence. If you're not 18, get out of here. Now. Go. Shoo.
// the story //
There's a part of town where nobody wants to be seen, but everybody is curious about. What makes it stand out - even in the darkness of night - is the little bright red building at the end of the darkest, most dismal of alleys. The Red Motel, along with most of the area itself, is owned by Ruki, a powerful and greedy hustler with an eye for pretty things.
If you're a beautiful piece of trash looking for work, you can always take a job here. You'll have your own room and get paid (but only if you work). And if you please the boss enough, you'll get even better treatment.
But if you make him mad ... well ... there's other reasons besides the paint on the walls that they call it the Red Motel.

/Ideally, your character should either be a member of PS Company (Miyavi, Gazette, Kagrra, Alice Nine, or Kra) or be easily connected to Gazette in some other way. OK, if there's someone else you're desperate to play then drop either of us a comment/email or something and we'll have a think about it and to be honest, we're pretty easy going../ *We've pretty much relaxed this rule-ette at the moment ^^*
/This RP is mostly done through LJ. There's too many time zones and too many schedules to spend hours developing stuff on AIM or MSN. Make a post, people will react to it through comments. If you do end up doing some stuff through chats, there's no need to post the log - just post about what happened./
/AIM is, however, very handy for getting your story straight with others. Read other peoples' posts before posting something. IM or e-mail people when you're going to do something drastic with or to their character. No killing anyone else off, unless they agree to it of course. With this in mind, please make sure you have some form of contact details in your user info./
/Community posts are written in the third person. Action takes place in story form through comments. Characters' reactions to things that happen can be written in first person in their personal journals./
/You can be a worker at the Red Motel, a regular client, or a rival pimp looking to steal some goods. Don't be someone's blind sister or long-lost twin or anything crazy like that./
/LEAVE THE DRAMA TO THE COMMUNITY. Be civil to each other when you're not in character./
/Be patient. Some of the players here have jobs and social lives and can't spend a lot of time on the computer posting in the Motel. Don't pester players you're involved in an RP with for posts./
/Multiple characters are allowed for those of you who are more 'active' players. However, it's not a good idea to have those characters be related, unless you really want to RP with yourself .../
/Conversely, let us know if you're going to be gone for an extended period of time, or if you just feel like taking a break. Do this as a courtesy to anyone you may be RPing with./
