1988-89 seems SO damn long ago, but I remember when my mom took me to see NE and Heavy D and the Boyz in the Philadelphia Spectrum in the 2nd grade....and I fell asleep. Don't judge me.

I LUUUURRRVVEEE N.E. Been in love with them since, like, 1983. Hell, we came out to "Candy Girl" at my neophyte/probate show.

Man, I listened to N.E. Heartbreak SOOOOOO much during the summer of 1988...I pretty much knew that whole album by heart.

Oh, and we won't talk about how I had tears in my eyes when I met Michael Bivins. He is REEEALLLYYY short though.

So is Johnny Gill. And that boy is BEYOND gay. I mean, I know drag queens that are more masculine than he is...
