Free World Time Clock for Blackberry Curve

Hey, do you know a good free world time clock for Blackberry Curve? I don't need like five billion cities or anything. Just a good free app.

Thanks

Hiya BB users. I'm so glad that I found this comm because it's definitely what I need! Right now I'm at TMobile, but I an probably going to be switching to Verizon tomorrow since my Sidekick decided to die a gruesome death on me today. I'm looking at the BB Curve 8530 since my manager and friend have one and they both adore them, but I want to know about them before I truly decide (I wasn't planning on buying a new phone so soon so I have to really like it to be spending the money I had saved for another expense!)

Is there anyone here who has this phone and would be willing to tell me a few things about it? I'm mainly concerned about the AIM messenger. On my SK, the AIM program is just like one that you would use on the computer. You don't show up mobile on anyone's lists, it's like its own little program instead of a phone program (one where it has a 160 character limit, which I cannot go back to!) Is the BB Curve 8530's like that, too, or is it one with a 160 character limit?

Also, all that I keep hearing about is how horrible the webpages look on the BB. I spend a lot of my time on Insanejournal, Livejournal, and http://www.despairfaction.com - are these pages going to work for me or will they be unreadable?

Thank you for any help/info that you can give me guys, I really appreciate it!

Pros!

Okay, so I've been having this debate with myself for quite some time about switching over to an iPhone. I've been a Blackberry user for 3 years now and I currently am using a Blackberry Curve 8900 on T-Mobile. All I ever hear are the Pros of an iPhone and never the cons, so as a fellow BBuser I would like to ask you guys the Pros and Cons of switching from a BB. I know this isn't an iPhone community, but since anyone else I ask in RL will tell me to switch, I wanted to ask REAL BB users.

Thanks in advance.

I'm torn.

Is anyone selling a Blackberry for AT&T? I'm really looking for the Curve but am open to anything except for the Pearl. My boyfriend has been using my Bold and he loves it so I want to buy him one.

TwitterBerry is now OpenBeak

So I was prompted to upgrade my TwitterBerry just now, when I went to the download page, I was being offered to download OpenBeak, not TwitterBerry.

Whatever, I downloaded the app anyway.

Let me just say, to anyone who has ever given TwitterBerry a try and hated it, give it a second shot as OpenBeak. It is world's better than it's predecessor.

You can download it here.

I have so many apps that have just popped up on my menu screen, and I can't find a way to get rid of them. For example, I now have two internet globe icons, for whatever reason, as well as a Myspace icon that I have no idea why it is there.

How do I get rid of these and why are they poppping up?!?

Computer not recognizing BB.

I'm on a Storm 9530 (Verizon) and I updated to OS 5.0 last night. AMAZING. If you're hesitant about upgrading because the last upgrade didn't make much differnece, DO IT. It actually runs like a smart phone now! :)

Problem: since I upgraded, my computer isn't recognizing the phone. I don't have the desktop manager installed (I never use it) and I'm usually able to access the music files on my phone via My Computer > BlackBerry 9530 > Media Card > music. But now, when I plug my phone in, it begins to charge, but doesn't seem to physically recognize (i.e. BlackBerry 9530 isn't showing up). Could this be beacuse of the update?

Ok, blackberryiers out there: show us your favorite websits you have bookmarked! Also, does anyone know where I can go online to play a good game of chess against another online player that has traditional; easy-to-see graphics for bb?? My favorite bookmark is: the Coast to Coast AM radio website, which I use in conjunction with the iheartradio app to listen to the program. Anybody else got any cooler websites than mine???

Polaroid Pogo

Does anybody know if a Blackberry 8900 and a Polaroid Pogo are compatible? I checked Polaroid's website and it doesn't say either way, but I can't tell if that's because it hasn't been updated or because it's actually incompatible. I'm thinking of buying one as a Christmas present and I don't want it to be a disaster.

Thanks in advance!

Call forwarding

I'm trying to set up conditional call forwarding but each time I key *72 (or 74) plus the number I'm forwarding to, I get an error message. I called MetroPCS and no help. I also tried setting up the call forwarding in my phone's options menu, but I get "check the number and try again." What I ultimately want to do is set up Google voicemail on my Blackberry. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Beyond frustrated...

My Blackberry Curve 8330 has been extremely slow since I've relocated. I can't get service in my apartment, and continually dial *228 several times a week.  Still, I can't seem to update the service for my phone. I've updated my records online (as far as my location & address goes) with Verizon, so don't know why I still can't seem to get service in this town.  My browser is extremely slow and I keep getting calls dropped. Any ideas on what else I can do?

In September my blackberry chose to reset itself, telling me "MIM" wanted to access my phone, then ran me through a setup where I lost my E-mail registrations, along with my phonebook. Verizon informed me that "MIM" is mail, however they don't understand what happened to my phonebook.

I'm currently going through my Applications, to clean out things I do not need. I hope by freeing memory...I'll start feeling positive about my blackberry again.....

Some questions were already answered and are now under this cut, thank you :) ).</div>

I am trying to remove the Facebook app from my BB Curve, along with the Facebook calendar option (which is set as my default calendar and I can't remove it).

Can I use my desktop manager to get my calendar back in order, and delete that app? I apparently can't just delete it from the "Applications" list in my "Options" menu.

Tia :)
