| We just had another new Boston Legal episode. What did everybody think of it?
Am I the only one sorta amused by this fact? I turn over to ABC during the last 5 minutes of DWTS. I've noticed for this episode and I think for last week's episode the DWTS host (Tom Bergeron?) has tossed in a passing mention of this being Boston Legal's final season. I'm just not sure what to think of it, ya know? Why point out it's the final season instead of just saying "Tune in for Boston Legal. It's up next." Idk...perhaps I'm just over analyzing. Anyway, thoughts about the episode are under the cut.

| Hi folks,
My name is KP and I'm the Head Writer for TheTwoCents.com. It's a TV site that I started just over a year ago. I'm just a normal guy with a real job, but I LOVE TV. I tried to keep up with my favorite TV shows on my own, but just couldn't do it on the site.
SO - I'm looking for other fans of my favorite shows to volunteer to do weekly recaps / reviews, in your own style, for our site. We have a bunch of staff writers but we don't have anyone for Boston Legal.
TheTwoCents.com was created for people to share their own TwoCents on reviews/recaps that we write and it is starting to take off. We're going to an all new format in the next few weeks, so it's very exciting times around here. Are you in?

| Okay, I'm only writing this because I'm majorly OCD and I get hung up on little things like this.....
First off, is the BL Icons journal suddenly smaller? It seems alot smaller to me. *ahem* Anyways, someone had posted an icon there I adored, saved, lost in a computer crash, and want again. It was Jerry hugging Alan from behind with the text *hugz* Totally adorable!
And since I've mentioned Icons, I'm totally looking for two icons for this journal...one Jerry, one Coho, both with text. (I know, but I have this theme. Look through my user pics and hopefully it makes sense)
Okay...sorry for bugging ya'll, but I can't find the *hugz* and it's driving me nutz. :P

| Can anyone help edit the Boston Legal article on Fan History? It doesn't matter how much or little you know about the fandom. Any contributions are welcome, no matter how small. Fix the grammar. Add any events to the timeline. Help create a list of influential fanworks, or define terms used in the fandom. Add more if you know more. Any contributions you can make towards explaining the fandom and documenting the history of the fandom would be appreciated.
Fan History is also trying to create a directory of Boston Legal fans. The directory can be handy in order to promote any activity a person is doing in fandom, to have a place where all links for various fannish places a person belongs to are in one place so that identity confusion is less likely to happen, in order to find other fans, helping to address the problem of fragmentation in fandom by putting information about various sites in one central location, etc. At the moment, there are are only 35 articles. | Fellow BLegalites, please heed my plea!
I left for Japan last week, coming here to Tokyo as a missionary, but in that financial sacrifice, I also had to sacrifice seeing the season finale.
Could any... any kind soul upload the episode for me. Mediafire, Megaupload, anything but anything weird and crazy works! Please, do this for a fellow BLegalite.
This is the only time I've requested an episode. I can't join the comm where they upload them because I am a member of too many J-rock download journals, and I only use my LJ download comms and journal on my longtime favorite Xanga, so they're awful. :(

| Just got my delivery from The Boston Legal Store! Only took just about 4 days since I ordered it late Tuesday night...and that's for ground delivery. In today's world of online shopping, that's almost UNHEARD OF (at least for me). And the garment fabric is just so freakin' soft...either as soft or softer than one of Denny Crane's hookers, I'd wager. *hee*

Edit: I've also gone a bit mad at the Boston Legal Store this week. My swag should be in soon...they have a very, VERY quick delivery turnaround.

| I hate you, ABC. I just completely hate you. You just never know what to do with ANY TV series. Well, any show I like/love/adore. I could cite as far back as Twin Peaks as to how much I simply hate your collective guts.
As your community mod, it falls to me to make this news announcement. It's been confirmed across several different sites, and as much as it pains me, I'd rather...well, it just pains me. Since you'll all find out soon enough, here goes.

Boston Legal Bows Out After Next Season
According to ABC Entertainment President Steve McPherson, the next season of Boston Legal will be its last. The show will finish out with a 13 episode season next fall.
Though many were shocked by the announcement, McPherson went on to explain the ABC remake of the BBC hit "Life on Mars" posed some of the problem, as David E. Kelley wrote most of the pilot, but now trades the series to October Road's Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Scott Rosenberg in return for writing virtually every one of the final thirteen episodes of Boston Legal. The move doesn't come as a shock to me - and I'm not slamming ABC for it. I just don't know where else the series can go. Don't go me wrong - I enjoy it a lot, but having recently watched Alan Shore's debut in the practice, it's amazing the sweeping character arc he and Denny Crane have seen in the last four years. Now, with Denny's Alzheimer's looming on the horizon, maybe it is time to start thinking about the end game.
In the end, it's a great series which never ceases to amaze me, but despite how much I'm going to miss it, at least Crane, Poole and Schmidt can go out in style!

Also, Boston Legal is is moving to 10 p.m. ET Mondays for its final season. This BLOWS as well, frankly. I'll have to tape it, as I'm out every Monday. But at least DEK will be scripting every episode (so they say) at this point. I hope they option for more than the 13 episodes though. *somehow*
It must be said, I'd rather watch this show go out on top, and with a planned ending, rather than just get cut off awkwardly, like so many TV shows do. but losing the best show on TV today (in my estimation) and the ONLY TV show on American TV I watch and that holds any---ANY interest for me is going to completely SUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK.

Burrows befriends NBC's "Enemy"
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Boston Legal" co-star Saffron Burrows will co-star opposite Christian Slater in the drama series "My Own Worst Enemy" for NBC.
Slater plays Henry, a suburban dad whose alter ego, Edward, is a spy. Burrows will play Norah, Edward's girlfriend and Henry's shrink.
"Enemy" is slated to air in the Monday 10 p.m. slot in the fall.

| Don't worry, no spoilers...
Is it just me, or was this maybe the best of the season? I have enjoyed Season 4 as much as Season 2. I did think last week's episode ("Tabloid Nation") was a bit under-developed and lacking, but "The Mighty Rogues" more than made up for it. It may not have had the all gut-splitting laughs, but I felt genuinely overcome with emotion for everyone involved.
