5/5 feedback for the ebay seller, mimiwoo.
I bought a Volks wig stopper from her and the transaction went smoothly. Here's the ebay link for the item... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=9524124692&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1
Friendly seller, great communication, and fast shipping.

Has anyone ever bought any dolls from junkyspot.com? I'll soon be ordering a 60cm Elfdoll (Soah) from there, and I'd just like to know what to expect.

- Reve en Poupee/Hieru
- FCS order
- Hieru was very pleasant and kept me up to date through the entire wait. Her emails were always quick and very friendly. Volks had a problem with my instructions for the lips and called her. She explained again to them what I wanted, and emailed me to let me know about it. My boy was sent directly from Volks to me and is absolutely perfect. I'd definitely recommend her and do business with her again. ^_^

Thank you to [info]lyssa_rd and [info]blastmilk for splitting a Volks SD-13 Emma with me. They were quick to send me their part of the payments. I am so thankful!

And while I'm here, big, major thank you to [info]thelyn for repainting my F-21, Kioko. Kioko is more beautiful than my mind's eye imagined. She was understanding of what I wanted and made no fuss when I asked there be a small adjustment made to the basic paints. On top of that, she is very talented!

I ordered a doll carrier from DollmoreUSA.com last month. Hyon was gracious enough to hold a group order when I found out the shipping would be insane if I had it sent to me direct. After posting about it on DoA, there were enough people interested in ordering that we got shipping down to $22 (from Korea to Hyon/Hyon to each of us) total!

Hyon had mistakenly ordered a pink carrier so she went ahead and put in an order for the black one I wanted (I wasn't in a hurry to get the doll carrier). Turns out, some of the people that had ordered with me originally wanted pink but later decided they wanted black, after she got our order. She very graciously reordered theirs in black. I thought this was extremely nice of her as most sellers would not do this. I got my bag yesterday and totally love it.

Hyon was very quick to reply to all my emails and quite helpful. I highly recommend ordering thru her if you are interested in Dollmore items. You might be able to save on shipping if you can find others to order with and have her handle the group ordering. Shipping for this particular doll carrier, had I gone to the korean Dollmore site would have been almost $50. Hyon said the bag is heavy and it was.

Hello,
I just this community earlier ,but I kept on forgetting to share my shopping experiences ^^;

PuprleWiz
Volks SD13 girl white boots
Ive baught the shoes off her on DOA. She was Polite , nice and answered emails very quickly . Shipping was a bit on the high side, but that is to be expected since I dont live in the US. definately recommended

aie
Dollheart SD13 girls black High heels
aie is really professional .She PMed me every time she got an update on situations. she responds to PM's almost immediately , and she ships fast too .not to mention , shes a real sweetheart XD definately recommended

Karin
Cheerydoll USA
AjumaPama USA
LOADS of items
Words cannot express how much I love Karin. she is absolutely the best in customer service, she replies fast, she packs carefully and ships lightning fast. Cheerydoll's outfits are great for their price tags , they are somewhat affordable yet still immaculate.Ajuma Pama's outfits are expensive but the quality reflects that, IMHO , they have the best short styled wigs.definately recommended

Reve en Poupee/Hieru
Cyndy,Luts clothes,dollmore coffins
regardless to the whole Opening issue etc.
I found Hieru pleasant to work with . She as a shopping service was very reliable to me . she got me my Cyndy off Yahoo Taiwan .shipped her directly to me from Taiwan , and even fulfilled a little request I asked her (Dressed Cyndy before sending her to me. customs over here strangely do not like seeing dolls naked...I know from past experience). she answers her emails emails quickly and her emails are always friendly .
I would still purchase from her in the future and do recommend her

Illness Illusion/Tasha_Neko
Faceups
Tasha_Neko is just about the sweetest person you would meet. She always responds to emails no matter how silly some questions may be and is always friendly. Her work is amazing , and to be honest, I could only invision her to work on my dolls as her style is just perfect and so exquisite in real life. She really works with you to bring out the character you have in mind on the head,She even sent me a little gift because it was my birthday <3.Shipping from canada is slow..but thats not her fault, although compared to another package that came from Canada, it was fairly fast. Highly recommended <3

Kakyuu
Heath and some pattern books
She is sweet and friendly in her PM's to me, she replies fast on occasions ,and ships fast too.I baught heath from her last spring and recieved him with a broken finger ,that is no where to be found in the box or packages or the bubblewrap .believe me when I say I searched everywhere at the customs,my car and in my room.I had previously asked her if she would replace anything broken in shipping and she did say yes. Unfortunately as I found out , she does replace , but at a price ($60). nowhere in her PM's did she mention that to me. the hands were not replaced with the default heath hands, but replaced with the optional parts H-03 hands.I wouldnt have went through her again , but at that time , she was my only chance of getting a hand for him. I did buy the hand with a few pattern books to save on shipping.they arrived fast and no problems this time, but she had emailed me that next time shipping would be more expensive by $50 (as she says she misquoted..) for a pair of hands and 2 pattern books on an already expensive shipping price in the first place.she didnt charge me the shipping price now because she said it was her mistake. One of my friends theory was that she broke it on purpose so that I would buy the optional part through her.
I do not recommend buying from her in the future.

Dollsandfriends.com
posh dolls heels and angelregion little ren girl
Now my cousin wanted a ren girl , except he doesnt know english much , so I ordered for him.Kathy is really polite , emailing updates every week ,she packaged her carefully and shipped her fast ,she even included a posh dolls wig as a gift.although to be honest, she is a tad bit late on emails. I wouldnt have ordered through her if shop4dollsandbears.com wasnt full, but Im glad I did.I dont think anyone would be dissappointed going through her. I most definately recommend her

Has anybody bought any of the cool-looking guitars from eBay seller iDrop-it?

I am really considering getting one of the guitars for one of my SD13 boys, but I'm just concerned whether it'll be too small or whatever.

If you've dealt with this seller and/or have gotten a guitar from them, please let us know how your experience went.

Thanks :)

I just wanted to say that I had wonderful transactions with [info]blukat and [info]angelificatus.

I got my sleepy Suzuna with the help of Blukat and was able to adopt my open eyed Suzuna from Angelificatus.
Both have been wonderful to me, thank you very much! ^-^

Hi everyone I'm a newbie to this community my name is Bec & I am from Brisbane, Australia.
I have recently made some purchases for my SD13 Nono and would like to share my experiences.

Also I was wondering about the auction posting rule on the community's info page. It says 4. Advertising of auctions, sales, and services will not be permitted. Yet there is alot of auction posts here. Is that rule more of a "guideline" or is it just an old rule?

Anyway here's my feedback:

eylcwsd on ebay I purchased a wig an shoes. The seller was great to deal with and I got my items within 4 days. The wig & shoes are of excellent quality.

mimiwoo on ebay. I brought a pair of sneakers. I have purchased lots of things off this seller & find them professional and helpful. Shoes are good for the price, fast postage.

alankan_hk Great seller! OMG the clothes I got from him are better quality than half the clothes in my own closet! Very helpful seller and fast postage too!

LUTS I brought some small items from the website. Postage took 2 DAYS FROM KOREA!! Thats better than in my own country!Good quality items & Sean is just a happy and helpful man!

So thats it from me for now..until the next big spend :P

Subject:dollfie cosmetics on ebay
Security:Public

Hello! This is a heads up - there are auctions going on right now for "Super Dollfie cosmetic sets" - SD13 to MSD.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Modern-Style-Cosmatic-set-Super-dollfie-SD-13-to-MSD_W0QQitemZ5631682071
http://cgi.ebay.com/Natural-Style-Cosmatic-set-Super-dollfie-SD-13-to-MSD_W0QQitemZ5631682124
http://cgi.ebay.com/Rose-style-cosmatic-set-Super-dollfie-MSD-or-blyth_W0QQitemZ5631681841

I haven't bought from the seller per se, but I can tell you that these items are NOT the right size. There's already a clue, since accessories cannot be scaled correctly for SDs and MSDs at the same time. :P
Last time this happened there were two sellers doing it and I emailed both of them. One changed the title, one didn't. I think this is actually the one who changed their title before (plus this seller's other auctions make it plain that they know what an SD is in terms of size) so I don't know why they're doing this. These are re-ment sets in barbie doll scale (maybe they work for blythes or pullips). I bought one (the natural cosmetic set, in fact) for a 1/6 dollfie diorama once and they are really cute, but do not buy them unless you want barbie sized items. If I'm wrong please slap me, but I don't want to see anyone led on by this. There was also a DOA thread about this last time it happened. If anyone wants to contact the seller please do so, because I don't want to do it again. ^^

Subject:Non-paying buyer at DoA
Security:Public

Just a heads-up for any sellers at the DoA Marketplace: DoA Member Noiche is a non-paying buyer.

Maybe I should've know better than to deal with somebody with no feedback and also a fairly new member at that (she joined DoA the first of October).

On October 12, I posted a Dream of Doll Si for sale. On Oct. 15, Noiche PM'd me twice to inform me she was interested in buying Si. I responded through Yahoo! Messenger to give her immediate details. She said she would send me a check and I took her down her address to prepare the package. On Oct. 17, she PM'd me inform me that she would actually be paying through PayPal since her mother thought it would be the safer choice, but that she would have to transfer funds and it would take four days. Ok, fine. On October 20, I check in with her to inquire on the status on her transfer. No response (and the PM still remains in my Outbox, meaning she never opened/read the message). On Oct. 21, I send her a email, this time telling her if I do not hear from by Oct. 29, I would assume she is no longer interested in buying the doll and also informed her I would leave her appropriate feedback here. I never got a response to the email or my attempt at contacting her through Yahoo! Messenger. On Oct. 23, I sent her a PM inquiring if she ever got my email and reminding her of her Oct. 29 deadline. No response (and PM remains in my Outbox). On Oct. 26, I put a notice up in the Marketplace (since PMs, email, and IMs did not work). No response there.

So here I am, letting you guys know of my frustrating experience.

Please everyone, don't waste your time like I did. Before you agree to sell a doll to somebody, ask for references (I know, it's a given to some of you, but I sold three other dolls in the Marketplace without any problems). It is not only buyer-beware out there, but also seller-beware. I wasted a lot of time and effort, only to be ignored. I am hopeful my new, current buyer for the doll is a good one (she has references!).

Mood: happy

There are a few people I will have to mention once I remember who all I have bought stuff from, but two I want to plug right now.

Devon, better known as Aznbutterfly on the BJD boards created two beautiful outfits for me and was so lovely to deal with!  I don't know where I would have been able to get these special outfits in such nice quality!  Thank you Devon and your Sailor Boys!

The second person I have to mention because she has one of her wonderful dolls for sale now is [info]angelificatus .  She fullfilled a dream for me.  And I also hope that I made a friend in the process.  Mia, much love to you!

As for all the others, well, I will have to do a little remembering and post when the brain cells are working again.

cheers!

* I don't know if this was mentioned elsewhere, but if people use the tags and put the seller's name there, it should help with searching for specific sellers*

Well, I guess since everybody is being shy, I'll make the first review..

I want to say I highly recommend bittenbefore. Judy, the lone seamstress extraordinaire, has made me a fur wig and customized shirt for my SD13 boy. The quality of her merchandise is wonderful and she is a delight to deal with. You can tell that she'll go out of her way to make sure her customers are happy with their product(s).

So, if you're in the market for fur wigs, hoodies, t-shirts, or if you want to ask Judy to make you something special, visit bittenbefore!

Hi,

Welcome to the first LiveJournal community especially created to post feedback on BJD-related transactions. This community was partly inspired by the feedback forums at Den of Angels and by the community, [info]bad_dolly_deals.

I hope this place will be a helpful resource for those of us who do regular business in the BJD community.

Thanks,
Nicky
