This is a Brian/Justin & Queer As Folk icon contest. Brian and Justin are...hard to define. They're one of the main non-relationships from Queer as Folk US. At the icontest we post a cap, and an quote/lyrics in which you design plenty of icons from the one of a kind couple. We also have a third special QaF Challenge where you can design anything or anyone from the show as long as it fits the theme for that going challenge. You then have a week to create and enter them. You can then look foward to seeing all the entrants and vote for the best ones. At the end of the challenge you get to enjoy the work created. |
- Each Challenge is broken up into three parts - caps, lyrics & free choice. The icon(s) must be made from at least one of these. You are allowed the following for each part: Part 1 "Caps" (two icons can be entered) Part 2 "Lyrics" (two icons can be entered) Part 3 "Free Choice" (one item can be entered) - Icons can be animated. Icons can be still. - Icons must fit LJs requirements. (<40K, =<100x100) - You don't need to be a member of the community to vote. - For the lyrics challenges, at least three consecutive words from the lyric must be used on the icon. At least three consecutive words must be readable. Small/tiny text can be present. - For the lyrics challenges, the icon can be any person or scene from QaF. - Icons must be anonymous, therefore no posting anywhere else until the winner is announced. Then you can do whatever you like with them! - The third challenge "free choice" is simple , you can choose whatever you wish to do, may it be a header, a wallpaper, or an icon as long as it fits the theme and the requirements that are stated for the challenge. - Every other week there will be a post with the new challenge. - All entries are to be submitted as a (screened) comment to the challenge post. - Up to 4 icons & one item (if you're entering part 3) may be submitted per challenge per person. - Icons must be made specifically for the contest and may not be used in other places until the winner has been announced. - Entries must be in by the closing date mentioned in each challenge. This post will contain a poll asking for your top three choices. You may select a maximum of three icons for each part of the challenge. - If there are ties in the initial poll, there will be a second poll to break these ties. - The winners and the next challenge will be announced shortly after the voting is done. - Each winner will recieve a winning banner for the winning icon/s, - Don't get people you know to vote for you. That's not fair. - Don't vote for yourself, if you vote for yourself and you entered an icon, the icon will be disqualified along with your votes, albeit only for that week. |
