Time has come to post another batch of icons. likethegun_lims, Round 4! Seems like when my ass is not kicked regularly to do something I'm lazy and just too busy for my own good. Anyhow, we started off 48 and I got until the Semi-Finals, which is woohoo! :D So I'm like the 4th or the 5th.

Congratulation to everyone who got that far. It's amazing how many talented people we have. I especially love exp0se and causefire's icons. It's just hammers me speechless. Anyhow, you guys wait another 3 weeks before the big final voting. Me posting my icons I entered in the last 11 challenges :)

Quick art post, not fandom related :) only cute guys related.

Last night I saw a French movie (Give Me Your Hand / Donne-moi la main (2008)) it was an interesting one, but have to tell the story didn't caught me that much, okay I didn't understand the main point that much. Yeah, it was about twin brothers who are traveling across the country to go to their Mother's funeral and how they dealing with things and how they find themselves as individuals. STILL I couldn't quite get what the movie was about, HOWEVER I think the movie itself is gorgeous. Like picture and composition wise. Also the colours, OH GODH! I love the colours.

Anyhow I capped it and I just had to do some icons. This is the insta-art I really missed doing :) Also I made a little spam about the boys in the end of the post.

Hey people out there!

I have been a bad little soldier to you guys I'm sorry. My comm was a year old on the 6th of August and I completely missed the celebration, cause I was in China. I'm really sorry! I planned to make a request post but I'm so stupidly busy these days that I should rather focus on tasks I haven't done. (Like both of my sweet charity :P)

But I have 500!!!!!!!!!!!! Watchers now! you guys are incredible! I have never expected this!

Anyhow, I will be busy with my job as it start to kick off to be even worse, but I do plan to post stuff soon. I can tell you what's in the making, and hopefully you will have enough big bumm to wait me to post them ;)

Hi Members/Watchers!

I mentioned before that I plan to post things that are NC-17 rated, which means I will lock them. I'm not confident to post something like that unlocked and in public, so I was thinking to put up a poll.
I actually started to do some icons, and I plan to post them. But I wanted to ask how open you guys are for those kind of things?

I'm not planning to post manips, because I do not agree with NC-17 manips. I sometimes feel rather violated than turned on by them. So the icons I plan to post from photoshoots or caps from "featured films" ;)

I haven't posted any texture sets for a long time, so it's time to share 2 sets I recently did.
Before I left my previous job I sat down and scanned a couple of books and brochures. These textures are from there, edited a little of course.

Distraction is me NEW name! I was so soaked up in my RL I didn't manage to finish this in time but now, LOOK! bite_my_muse got a new layout (best viewed in firefox), and a new profile page. Yesterday was my comm's 6 months anniversary! And I have 365 watchers! This is incredible and I NEVER would have expected such an amazing response when I opened it in August.

I have been a bit MIA but what's better remedy for everything in my life than a little art making? HERE, NOW! Request!!!

The rules has changed a bit. I won't make headers and wallpapers, as last time I had to give up because it was too much.

Animations only from Supernatural, but for the still icons I would go with anything. I have to change eventually anyway.

Basically I will go with one icon per person, but if you give good images, I might end up making even more :)

I made a poll not so long ago asking about what kind of tutorials you would like to see here. I know the header wasn't the first one on the list, but actually I asked for sample images and there were some request about this particular header. So this is my first big tutorial in like a year.

I'm planning the next one should be an animated icon tutorial with texture usage and everything, as it seems that interests you guys ;)
I have to tell you that this tutorial here is not easy. I use Adjustment Layers, Clipping Masks, Vector Masks etc. If you are not familiar with Photoshop at all, this tutorial won't help you with it and probably you would hate for life, because you won't have any idea what I'm talking about.

There are easy tutorials out there, so if you know what these terms mean then check this out :)
I hope you will find it helpful.
