bish_a_day, but we're all about the ladies here. And yes, we're just a shallow.

1. Posting is open to all memebers and moderation is loose, but this is a dictatorship. I,

cains_underoos, am the Queen. Dig it.

2. To post to the community, you must include at least one picture in your post(more is encouraged!). Posts should center around bishoujo. This is not limited to just Japanese anime or manga, but to all other forms of media (video games, live action, Disney, Marvel, DC) and work of other national origins (French, Korean, American, et cetera). The only requirement is the pretty. Actresses protraying a character,also count. But don't just post pictures of your favorite celebrity photo shoot without a VERY good reason that would appease the mods. Cosplay is allowed with GOOD reason, but discouraged.

3. LJ-cut is a must. No one likes their lj cluttered with macro images, so please use it. We are het, slash, yuri, and shoujo-ai friendly. Be considerate to other members and post warnings and mark any "Not-Safe-for-Work (NSFW)" material clearly in the header of the post if you are posting graphic images.

4. Scans from doujinshi are welcome, but credit if you know the artist/doujinshika's name. Fanart is also welcome, but if it is not your own work, do not post the image. Instead, link to the image and give the name of the artist and piece in the link.

5. Please don't post bizillions of icons. There are dozens of icon communities for that. You can post some icons with a post, but it is perfered if you do a fake-cut to your lj for icons.

6. Be good to one another. You can argue with other posters about what a bitch a certian character is or if they are a canon Mary Sue, but if it gets out of line, you will be held responsible.

THEME DAYS

Friday- since Friday is ruled by the planet Venus, every friday is now decreed "Mahou Bishoujo Friday" or "Magical Girl Friday." Magical Girls are girls with magical or amazing powers that they use to take names. Typically, this theme is found in Shoujo comics, but if you wish to post about another character who does have amazing abilities or doesn't have any powers at all on a Friday, you can.

Wensday- "Girls Who Kick Ass Wensdays" are dedicated to bishoujo who are likely to shoot you if you dare call them sissy, girls with attitude, military girls, or who could kill a man just for looking at them. Typically, the heroines/villians of action manga, superhero comics, sporty types, etc.
