Below is information about the "Your (Occasionally) Daily Dose of the Pretty" community on LiveJournal. To join this community, click here. You may leave the community at any time.

1. Not all members have posting access. This is because I rule with an iron fist. And I hate you. I still hate you. But everyone automagically gets posting access now because nobody's been an idiot. Um, yay?

2. At least one picture per post, please, with a focus on anime and manga/manhwa/manhua/etc bishounen - bishie_daily is where you can go to get your daily photo fix. Actors and models playing anime and manga characters in live-action movies, TV shows, and photo shoots are OK. Or if, y'know, you can't resist. But I expect an elaborate and entertaining justification for it!

3. LJ-cuts are your friends, especially when there's more than one image or it's large enough to screw up layouts. NSFW pics, behind cuts with a warning, please.

4. Let's try to stay away from all-icon posts, posts that are nothing but links to another LJ (give us at least one pic before sending us to your journal!), etc.

5. My definition of "bishounen" is loose - bishounen, biseinen, pretty animated guys, whatever. The farther away from traditional bishounen you get, the more creative a justification I expect!

6. Fanart and doujinshi images are welcome - if you didn't do it, please credit and link to the original artist if possible, and if they come by and ask you to take it down, please do so gracefully.

7. Examples of what's acceptable and not in this post. May be slightly NSFW.

8. It's OK if there's OMG A GIRL in the picture, as long as guys are featured. If you have a pic featuring a girl, head on over to bishoujo_aujour and post it there.

9. I officially marked this comm as "Adult Concepts" out of paranoia, but unless we start getting lots of the boyporn, it won't go to Explicit Content. Please mark your individual posts Explicit if necessary, however, or friendslock them if you have ideological objections.

1. Go nuts in the comments. Have fun. Drool, RP, pimp your art, your icons, random spammage, whatever. But don't whine to me if the original poster asks you not to do it, deletes your comment, screens it, freezes the thread, disables anonymous comments, gets one of the mods to ban you for being annoying, or in some way curtails your fun.

2. You can be granted posting access by participating in the comments a lot and not being an idiot. It may take a while for one of us to get around to granting it, though. :) Bribes will be considered. Everyone can post now. But bribes will still be highly encouraged considered.

3. Feel free to argue that a character isn't technically a bishounen. We won't actually pay any attention to you, but if it makes you feel better, you can complain. We're here for the pretty, not the terminology.

At their whim, the mods may declare one day, or a series of days, a theme! Note: you don't have to stick to the theme, because all appearances aside, we are actually reasonable any bishounen is welcome, but if you've got something that fits, post away!

Mondays are Minekura Monday! Why? Because your mods are sad, sad Saiyuki fangirls appreciate Kazuya Minekura's artwork. You can post other things on Monday if you want to, but anythign and everything Minekura is greatly appreciated!

Tuesdays are Arbitrary Angsty Demon Du Jour Day! Can I post a bishonen who is NOT an angsty demon on AADDJ Day? Of course you can! After you've written a 100-word letter explaining to Half-Demon Baby Gojyo exactly why you hate him so much, as you so obviously do.
