peregrin8, inspired in part by Anne Lamott's Bird By Bird (hence the name). I am hoping it will be a place to get inspiration and energy, unblock our blocks, share quotes and ideas, and [this part is new] share our writing and get supportive feedback.
Rules for sharing your writing here:
1. Please use an LJ-cut.
2. Let us know what KIND of feedback you are looking for -- for instance, is it new fledgling work that just needs to "get out there," so we should be gentle? Is it part of a longer work, and would you invite speculation about what might happen next? Is it second-draft writing that is ready for a harder critique?
Also, membership is now moderated. WE ARE TEMPORARILY NOT ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS (unless you were referred here by a member of the group). Sorry - this is an experiment, and may change again in future.

I'm especially interested in how people manage to juggle their creative writing pursuits with the other demands of life (jobs, family, activism, etc.)
Introduce yourself when you join! We'd love to know:
- how you found this group
- why you're interested, and what you hope to get out of it
- what kind of writing you do
- what else you are juggling (do you have a day job? family to raise? secret superhero identity?)
- anything else you want to tell us.
Hate speech (including but not limited to sexist, racist, and anti-gay remarks) or other nastiness will get you banned. Please avoid cross-posting (except between here and your personal journal) or spamming this group. Keep it positive and useful; we are all busy people!
