AboutTHIS PROJECT IS CLOSED, AND THE COMMUNITY IS KEPT FOR ARCHIVING PURPOSE
This is not a usual LJ community, and this is not a contest. Only authors that are capable of producing good quality, aesthetically attractive pictures are allowed to join the community. Think before posting. If you're unsure if the picture is good enough, then skip it. Think of your submissions as precious contributions, and help us build a great and beautiful project.
Every 8 weeks there's a new theme. The themes will be mainly abstract, and sometimes difficult to fulfill. This is all about associations. Use your imagination in a most unusual and abstract way.
This livejournal community membership is moderated. Please attempt to join only if you plan to submit your work. Your journal should contain pictures of decent quality. If you keep them somewhere else, drop me an email with the link to your gallery. Everyone else is welcome to add the community to the friends list.
Any form of visual expression is welcome: photography, graphics, paintings, etc.
Please send one image per post, not higher than 600px, and not wider than 800px, with the file size within 180kb. Don't use lj-cut. Link to a bigger version is welcome. If you sell your work, feel free to include pricing and contact information. Don't send more than 5 images in one theme.

Это не обычное ЖЖ-сообщество, и это не конкурс. Только авторы, способные создавать качественные, эстетически привлекательные работы, допускаются к участию. Перед тем, как присылать новую работу, подумайте. Если сомневаетесь в том, хороша ли работа — лучше не присылайте. Относитесь к работам, которые вы всё-таки решились прислать, как к ценному вкладу в этот проект. Давайте все вместе построим здесь красивый и интересный проект.
Раз в восемь недель задаётся новая тема. Темы выбираются довольно абстрактные, и иногда довольно сложные в исполнении. Присылайте ваши фотографии, рисунки, картины — всё, что с этой темой ассоциируется. Чем неожиданнее ассоциация, тем интереснее.
Членство в этом ЖЖ-сообществе модерируемое. Вступайте в него, только если планируете присылать ваши работы. Ваш журнал или вебсайт должен содержать интересные и качественные работы. Для просмотра достаточно просто добавить сообщество к себе в друзья.
Картинки не нужно прятать под lj-cut, должно быть одно изображение в записи, не выше 600, не шире 800 пикселей, и не тяжелее 180кб. Если вы продаёте эти работы, информация о цене и контактные координаты приветствуются. Принимается не более пяти работ от автора на каждую тему.
Не смотрите на мои фотографии, они вовсе не того уровня, который я хочу видеть вbimonthly. Если хотите примеров хороших фотографий, загляните в ssi_fav.
Авторы, присылающие много средненьких фотографий, будут отчислены из сообщества.
Текущая тема: Хрупкое. Эта тема об ощущениях деликатного, тонкого, ранимого. Разбитое стекло не принимается, за исключением редких случаев гениально выполненных работ, при этом попадающих в тему. Стекло и лёд в целом не очень желательны, и будут приниматься с предвзятостью. Тема заканчивается 18 декабря.
Пожалуйста, не пользуйтесь ljplus.ru. Вокруг полно более быстрых и надёжных хостингов.

It's about the feeling of something very delicate, and easily destroyable. Broken glass is not accepted, unless the picture is geniously done and fitting the theme. Glass or ice in general is not very welcome, and accepted with suspicion.
