12:54PM - Until we have something to report

So I'm home again, mostly cause my head hurts like hell. A shower didn't help.

Mum's coming with me when I get the Apocalyptica ticket Friday to do the birthday thing. It'll be Mcdonalds and getting stuff, maybe a figure, cd or dvd of some sort.

I'm working on finishing the Sean/Gavin fic, though it's a bit hard to remember where I was actually wanting to be going with it. I'm pretty much making it up as I go along now and hoping it's the direction I originally intended.

I've randomly been watching Will And Grace.

I really wish I knew where my Empire At War code was.

Mum'll be gone soon so... I dunno what I'll be doing.

Sarah Jane was on last night and it made me just wanna give her a hug. That and to steal Luke.

11:23PM - A Collection of Random Thoughs Vol.1

Have any of you ever seen the movie "The Apple?" This movie is so bad that it almost loops back around to fantastic. ALMOST! I kind of agree with this review. Here is a little taste for those of you who love bad things.



I'd even say it's worse than Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band film.

Apollo and I are like Earl & Randy.  He's Earl, of course. He loves me, and goes along when I say some REALLY stupid stuff.  Also, I'm super lucky to have him because we don't every really fight.  He makes this relationship almost TOO easy.

I really wanna make an apron.  I went back to the salvation army to get some of that lace to make a cute little lace apron.  Cute, but not practical.

I think I have no life because I write about work TOO MUCH.

I might sew tomorrow.

I wanna go on a bike ride sometime.  Like, I think it would be nifty.  A bike ride in the crisp October air.

God, I'm old.

My new webcam is good.  Almost TOO good.  Like, not only does it pick up my current skin imperfections, but it also picks up future zits. Like, zits I'll get three years from now.  BLEH.

I need to SERIOUSLY get back on my diet.

OH YEAH!  So Apollo got approved for his CMSP.  However they only go back to the beginning of October.  Our hospital visit was on September 29th.  AWESOME! WE ARE SCREWED! W00T!

I need to go make bread.

12:06PM - I still can't hit anything!

I'm still at home, cause I felt too tired to go in today. I'll go back tomorrow.

I'm writing the next part of Into The Darkness, which I'm happy with so far (though it's annoying I can't find pics of all the latest victim's tattoos). Once it's done I'll do the Sean/Gavin I started. I dunno what I'll do when both are done, probably another standalone or two. Maybe with Worm, Ray, Ben, Jimmy or Eicca.

Mum's arm's not broken, but it is swollen. So she's gotta take it easy (though of course, she won't).

The other Apocalyptica cd I ordered came while I was gone, so I've been randomly listening to tracks. I wanna see them now damnit.

I'm watching old school Simpsons now. Season 2 to be exact (which is scarily 18 years old, eeek).

I wanna see the last Clomne Wars ep damnit! Why isn't it online?

There's a new thing I want to watch when it's on called Dead Set. It has zombies.

About 3:10 in is the Sean/Matt kiss. The camera work isn't the best thrugh the rest of the song, but it captures the kiss perfectly.

That's me pretty much done now I think, so off I go to finish fic.

Edit: So I found the Clone Wars on youtube (why didn't I think to look there?).

Geeking out over it:

11:03AM - 13 is the Lucky Number for today...even if it is only the 12th.

Well, thanks to fiannaharpar 's last post,  I now have Go Ask Alice stick in my head.  :P

Meanwhile, I wish I had one of these old school heaters now, cuz this looks kind of awesome....



Anyhow, so I have some 13 Bean Soup going in the crock pot for Apollo.  I didn't have any ham or sausage, but I did  have two bits of rib bone about three inches by four inches.  With any luck that will work.  And Apollo will be a dear and save me some.  *bats eyelashes*

OH! SPEAKING OF "13." I was super psyched last night to see William Castle's 13 Ghosts.  I fell asleep just as all the ghostie goodness started to take place.  BOOOOO!  William Castle is one of John Waters'  favorite directors.  DAMNIT!  I really wanted to see it.  Perhaps I'll be able to find a place online to watch it in time for halloween.

9:35PM - Nursery

We worked so hard on this and it did take about 2 months to totally get finished. It is such a relief that it is finished.

The nursery is finished! Finally!!!

Chris put together the glider and the swing and we are almost ready for the baby. We need a few more things, but I'm having a shower next weekend, I hope. I really hope I can get off bedrest, or just get permission to go to the shower.

Things I still need:

bottles
stuff for the breast pump (my sister needs to help me get this b/c she knows what I need)
sheets for the pack n play
the bouncer / pumpkin seat
bottle drying rack
car seat mirror
mattress pad
a sheet saver
some more diapers

Those are the things that I would consider something I HAVE to have.

I still need to pack my overnight bag, and get the car seat in the car.

I'm going to go take pictures of the nursery. I know I'm not really supposed to be up, but I've been laying down all day and I'm sore, and I need to get up. I'll post them later.

11:41AM - I'll take a HUGE sandwich and two picke spears, please.

So I just made myself a sandwich from the bread I had made...BTW..IT CAME OUT AWESOME. Anyhow. So since I had to slice the bread myself it ended up lookin' all thick and stuff. Like, all hella old school. I only used one slice and cut that in half for my sandwich. It was huge, and I am full. Good thing I don't eat again until 3:30.
Yep. Aren't you glad you read that. Super exciting shit. WOOOT!

Today I see how my week is going to shape up. Bleh.

I am so sick of people calling Obama Osama or Barack Hussein. This is so racist and just as bad as calling him the "n" word. Just because he has a non-American name (who really doesn't, because we are a nation of immigrants) does not mean he is not American. That is a ridiculous statement and VERY RACIST.

He is not a terrorist, because he served on an educational board with someone questionable. It would be like calling someone who was on the school board with someone who killed their entire family the next day a murderer. Seriously?

Using Obama's middle name is like comparing with someone with the name "Wayne" to John Wayne Gacy. Do you realize how ridiculous this is?

The Republicans are scared, and desperate, and as well they should be because they are going to lose. I'd be more afraid of a President with a short temper and doesn't think before he reacts, or a woman who has abused her power as governor, and wants to expand the job of the vice president into the legislative branch, other than being a tie breaker in the Senate.

People get over it. Obama isn't a terrorist because of his name, his color, or his business acquaintances. And those who are making these connections are using prejudice to come up with these conclusions. You should be ashamed to lower yourself to this kind of rationalization. It is pathetic.

11:14AM - The children of the night

I finally managed to see the new FOB video (on tv cause every online version I've tried to see was all skippy or something). They're so weird. The end's the weirdest. They're just... very strange, insane boys.

So yesterday was The Blackout. Before we went Mikey's Lego Batman came so we spent awhile on that.

We managed to get there ok (the Astoria's pretty straightforward to get to) and we had Mcdonalds. Why did they not have Happy Meal toys to yoink like Wednesday? Meanies.

Anyway we joined the line half hour before doors open. Behind us was a guy I thought was cool (but Mikey didn't). He'd good music, though the main reason I liked him was his tee. On the front it said something about being gay for The Blackout and on the back it said he'd suck Snoz's drumstick. Heee.

We went in and got merch. Mikey got me a tee, which is pretty and has the tour dates on (bar Birmingham's oddly). I really liked The Medic Droid (not just causa the name) and got the cd. I didn't go much on We Are The Ocean. Claire managed to arrive around then though, so it's all good.

Last was From First To Last who were pretty awesome. Matt looked Good (*snigger* ) and the keyboardest was crazy. Best of all, they played Ride The Wings and Sean came on (he'd been sitting watching for at least half the set). He did a bit of screaming and kissed Matt. Ahh I hope someone got a pic.

Last was The Blackout. They had a stage with a raised kit and ramps and stuff. Gavin kept jumping from beside the drumkit (has the chest infection made him want to hit his head?). Matthew kept staring at Sean (but also Gareth). Sean's been teaching Gavin his mic swinging thing, though he's not as good yet. They were so bouncy and awesome. And they also stole Bullet's lightbox idea. They played a new song (which I loved) and I Kissed A Girl. What is it with everyone and that song? Sean kept putting his hand down his pants, showing skin and generally being a tease/whore.

We're going to see Mirrors in awhile.

8:01PM - Hair...

I have curls :) I like them :)

To get them it means I wash my hair and don't brush it, but I like them :)

General consensus is they look nice (people at work, including customers who commented on my hair, friends) so yay :D

Oh, and you want to know how to make a Chel hyper? Feed her orange Lucozade. Two or three bottles of. Then watch her go :p

I'm shattered, but still kinda buzzing. It's a strange strange feeling. I'm also hungry.
