Just another reminder that this community has been re-opened and redesigned as a Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel the Series LIMS competition. Sign-ups are going on until the end of the year, so sign up now here.
We definitely need a few more people to sign up to even make this work, so I hope this happens.

| A Buffy Icon Challenge Re-Birth |

So I've been thinking lately that I miss the challenge of Buffy iconing. And this community, which I never had the heart to delete, has been sitting here. And I think it's time for a comeback. But what I would like to do is run this community as a Buffy the Vampire Slayer / Angel LIMS (Last Icon Maker Standing) competition.
I plan on re-starting the community January 1, so for the month of December, I hope to get participants to sign up, and hopefully word will spread that the community is back.
A basic re-tread of LIMS rules, in case anyone doesn't know.
Each week an image will be posted and everyone has a week to make an icon of that image and post it as a reply to the challenge post (where all entries are screened). Everyone is allowed one skip, and more may be earned by pimping the community (you can earn one extra skip by posting a link in your journal, and one more if you pimp this community in another community - there are a maximum of three skips, and you must comment that you will be using your skip if you are... using your skip :) Until the results are posted, you may not share your icon with any other community or in your journal. At the end of the week, a voting post will go up and the iconer with the most votes against them will be kicked out of the competition. Eventually, there will be only one Last Icon Maker Standing.
So consider this the Official Participant Sign-Up Post
If you are interested in signing up, leave a comment with your username, and to show that you've read this all, have the subject of your comment be your favorite Buffy or Angel character. If you have promoted this community somewhere, leave a link as well to earn your skips.

First of all, I'm sorry I've waited so long to do this. I started these two communities, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) buffy_chorus and bicon_challenge a long long time ago with puppetoflove. For a long time, the contests flourished, and then the series ended and slowly but surely, participation dwindled.
I believe the time has come to close these communities. I thank everyone for volunteering to take them over, but these contests are like my babies and I wouldn't feel right handing them over.
I'm going to keep this message up for about a week and then delete both communities.
Thank you SO much to all those who participated, or voted. It was fun, and you made these communities successful for so long.
Thank you.
Also, if anyone would like to link me to similar Buffy or Angel icontest communities, I will plug them into this post so people can join them if they like.
