Next meeting: Sunday 4th May
The next meeting of bibliogoth will be this Sunday! The venue is the Castle in Farringdon, the meeting will start about 15.00 (ish) and the book we are discussing is The Golden Ass by Apuleius.

I got to the end of the book (The Golder Ass)! woo hoo!

I now know what all the fuss was about over Book 10!!!! (OMG!)....but was a bit let down byt the ending of the book as a whole. It didnt really seem the same as the rest of the text, but perhaps the author was trying to make a point about not looking back?!

I knwo i said i enjoyed it at the meeting, and i still think that! (the ending just being a bit of a let down - but im not really sure how else it could have been written).

Hooray! I'm glad you enjoyed it :o)

We probably have a spare copy or two of next months book which has unfortunately gone out of print since we put it on the long list! Shout if you would like to borrow it :o)

yeh it was a really good book!

I managed to get a copy of the new book on Amazon somehow! Think i must have got in there early!!! I said i would lend it to Vince after i'm dome with it, if he wants to come to the next meeting. Hopefully other people can get hold of copies too! Im sure i can lend mine to other people if they need it :)
