Bwah, I'm tired, but I need to tidy my room and do things. HOWEVER. I went for the chop. The fringe is a little short, and I don't like it just... sitting there on my forehead like it's doing something - I keep having to flick it back. It's supposed to be "just past my eyebrows" but it's not even TOUCHING them. But that's just my fringe, and it'll do what I want once I've washed it. The rest of it, I love, because it MOVES and you have no idea how hard I've been trying not to shake my head just to make it do things.
I bought yellow felt, because I'm going to go for it. I'm going to make a Timcanpy plushie, though he'll probably be about tennis ball sized, maybe even smaller. And...
...I bought a one-armed, one-footed painter's mannequin, because it was fifty pence, I'm a soft touch, and I knew it would never sell because it was ex-display. I don't know what possessed me. I might paint it. At least I have stuff I can do over the summer. But I should probably tidy first. |

I pulled ANOTHER all-nighter Sunday night on a single mug of coffee, so by the evening I was bushed :3 I did strange things to while away the time during the night, including covering a canvas with text pages. I took it out side in the afternoon and painted it for a couple of hours, which would make that my first ever mixed-media work. It's not that great, cos I can't draw that well, but I like it! It's hanging on my door at any rate.
But, yes. I was dropping off by nine, and slept for nearly two hours before I actually went to bed. I woke up about an hour ago.
Yeah. That's, what? Seventeen hours? I'm not going to sleep tonight, huh?
I think I'm drowning in tags, which is largely the fault of the speed-dating log. But it's good fun, so I don't particularly mind, even if it's hard to figure out WHERE I owe posts... Then again, I've tags outside of that so. Eh.
The hair is getting hacked off in three days :o |

Trying to post to The pit of Voles has reminded me of some of the reasons why I haven't bothered to post anything there in a long while. I don't know if it's just my crappy Internet connection, but it's always such a hassle. Anyway, here's a short little slice-of-life piece.

Rambling as I think of things.
Feels like I haven't been properly around for ages. I certainly haven't been active in ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) digitalrewind- sorry guys! But it's for good stuff this time, like holidays and work experience. Yup, I'm off to America for 2-and-a-bit weeks as of Friday, and then work experience. Can't wait!
I had a very soggy and windy week in Wales, but it was great fun. My feet are just about recovering from all that walking, though!
Then I came back, and was made to take my parents to a car boot sale, where I found the Yugioh film, practically brand-new on DVD for about a pound, which made me and my bro soo happy you would not believe.
Oh yeah, and hands up who's excited about the Ouran dub! I know some people are really like urgh about the VAs, but I watched the announcement panel on youtube, and they seemed great fun, and not too different from their characters. I especially liked the Ranka, Honey and Mori - not sure about the Haruhi yet (seemed a bit too chirpy?).
