Quantum Consciousness and the Fifth Dimension
By Indi Riverflow
“Where ya comin’ from?”
Our worldview is largely a function of our location. The range of what we can experience and imagine is bounded by the culture that spawned us, and the place that we hold within it. Transcending locality is key to comprehending quantum consciousness. ( Read On! )

What will Winter Solstice bring in 2012? ...an instant of Karma? ...an ethereal spiral dance of the collective soul? ... cosmic judgment leveled against civilization's expanse? ...destruction of the world as we know it? ...a chance for a new start? ...the rise and the revenge of the Goddess? or simply another day in the life of paranoia? These are the false prophesies that your pastor warned you about!

Hey all,
Another noob here. Same as below: I know it's not that active, but that hopefully means you're all really busy writing ;)
So what do I do? I co-edit a quarterly eZine for Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror stories. Our LJ's over at pantechnicon, and the website's at http://www.pantechnicon.net
I'm more than happy to comment on people's writing, but please be patient if it's coming close to our publication dates, 'cause I get a bit frazzled 'round then ;)
Ta!

I joined this community in hopes that maybe some of you will read my writings. I know this isn't the most active of communities, but I'm desperate for readers. For the longest time, I've always been writing things that no one ever wanted to read. And... well, I hope that this time it might be different. So, if anyone reads this and doesn't mind taking a few minutes out of their lives to help a fellow ambitious author, check out Another Word for Desperate. This was started by myself and another friend. Please? I hope you enjoy. Thank you so much!

www.wiredtales.com So we have two new stories for you this time round, both of them with a horror slant: Brian James Lane's "Fixer-Upper" a creepy little haunted house number from the states, and my own cross-genre "Bloodshot Moon." Brian assures me that in the US, a Fixer-Upper is a house that is in need of serious repairs. It was good he told me this, because I'd been puzzling over the title for some time. Personally I'm a sucker for a good, creepy ghost story, and this one sent a shiver up my spine. So, dim the lights, switch off your phone and go play with Brian...
Mood setting aside, I think it's getting around the time to tell you what this site is actually here for. Short fiction, obviously, but what kind of fiction?
What we are aiming for is this: the coolest, most exciting fiction around. Fiction which is intelligent, accessible, covers a range of genres and doesn't bore the readers. We are aiming for stories with solid plots, entertaining characters, and contemporary themes. Stories which manage to be fun, edgy, provocative, and exciting. "DON'T BE BORING" could well be taken up as the battle cry of Wiredtales. If we achieve even half these aims, it'll be something. www.wiredtales.com

Hope you all don't mind me posting this heads up for Wired Tales WT is a short fiction website where readers can vote for stories they liked, and every 2 weeks the story with the least number of votes is brutally kicked into the dustbin - or the archive in this case. All we want to do with the site is to tell the best damn short stories that we can, stories which are funny, dark, twisted, cool, sexy and kick some ass...and the best part is - it's free. Most of the work there is sci-fi orientated at the moment, but we are going to be adding some horror, fantasy and other stuff over the next few months
check it out. www.wiredtales.com

I first started to write when I was twelve after reading The Young Wizards. What I wrote made no sense, had no plot, and was pretty much crap, but I enjoyed it to no end.
Now I've made this journal for the kind of embarrassing story I have. It no longer has anything to do with a fandom, it's an original work. There is some mythology in it.
Mostly, it's satirical fantasy.

I've dedicated this journal to my story. It doesn't have a title, but I'll give you a bit of a premise.
It's a fantasy/sci-fi story (yeah, I'm a geek). The heroine, Saphyre, thinks she is nothing while she lives on earth but finds out she actually possesses incalculable power in another world called Fulmenia. Basically, there has been a prophecy for centuries in Fulmenia that a child of the Earth will be their savior.
So yeah typical good/evil story. I'm posting the prologue in a cut. The rest (that I have written so far) is in my journal.
Gimme feedback good and bad.

I'd like to invite everyone to check out my new serial. The story could go anywhere, which is the whole point. If you stop by, you'll want to start with the oldest entry and work towards the newest, otherwise you're reading the story backwards, which could cause undue mental anguish.
And there's no such thing as "suing for damages" in Oddland...

I feel the need to share this link, which is via another writing community. It regards reviewers and review quality, and I think everyone here should give it a read. Rant
I highly suggest reading the origin of the rant, "The Invisible Reader", which is linked at the above link.
I've cross-posted this at Tsukimine Shrine, and I got it from Fiction_Writers. So you may have seen this already.

Hi! I found a link to this community through "V.Original"... but I must have missed it when I was looking through the list of LJ writing communities.
I'm newish to fanfic -- Card Captor Sakura was the first thing to really inspire me -- but I've dallied with orig fiction for as long as long as memory. I write a lot of poetry, sometimes fanfic poetry. I'm currently straddling the pulls of both fanfic and my original writing.
I also love to review and give feedback, almost as much as I like constructive feedback given to me!

Hi everyone. *waves* I just joined this community & decided it might be a good idea to introduce myself. I haven't written any fanfics yet, but I've read a lot of them. So far I've only done original writing based on an RPG world & characters I created for it in the past. Now, I run an interactive writing board, that revolves around that same world. Recently, I got interested in anime & manga & am loving it.

Right, so, My name is Arch (ARK), And... Uh... yeah. Evidently enough, I'm new here, but just from the things I've read, I'm attracted to it. Sooo, yearrrh. Um let's see, I've been writting for a little while but none of the crap I put on paper was ever very good, and recently, I began writting fanfiction (although I can never stay very consistant). I've been developing an anime-style art for the past few years as well, and actually hope to post some of it up here once I get my scanner fixed up a bit, and am pushing to do an online manga. ...Eventually. ^_~
Anyway, the discription of this community said that it was for those who are going between fandom and original works. I'm actually trying to start a community dedicated to an I.S. (Interactive Story) which I though, since this is essentially a community for creative outlet, that some people might be interested in. I don't actually have any members right now seeing as I started this last night.... The address is:
http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=writersis
Also, I don't know if advertising other forums is forbiden to this board. If so, I apologize and you are more than welcome to delete my post! ...Gomen.
Anyway, I'll post up some artwork later, and if anyone is interested (in my art OR the community), Great!
-Arch
BTW, If anyone actually DOES take a peek at the I.S. deal, The little icon is a very shruken peice of my artwork... Not that anyone really cares all that much. Catch you guys later! ^_^
