Sorry if this isn't allowed, if not, please feel free to delete it.
Theres a new community for the neo-Medieval dirge band Unto Ashes. Unto Ashes are primarily focused on the exploration of beauty and terror in the realms of shadow and loss. They utilize acoustic and synthetic instruments to produce a foreboding gloom-scape of trance and drone; many of their songs are hauntingly beautiful, a dark harvest of abandonment and failure.
Check them out!

Thats right guys and dolls. This friday. At the Camden Underworld.
We really is needing your support on this one so please feel free to forward this link to anyone and everyone.
It's the climax of the "consummate" tour which has been a riot thusfar. We'd love to end it with a bang rather than a whimper...and what better way than to support the high priest of love himself ?

9/10- Orkus Magazine. 9/10 - Sonic Seducer Magazine. 5/6 Metal Hammer Gemany.
"After the wait, ‘Consummate’ is just what the doctor ordered". The worst fanzine.
"Lush fluid Industrial dark wave flavours, dark jagged edges, sharp edges and the finest moments yet from the London crew. We could call it goth but that kind of devalues it a little" Organ Magazine
"They might even smash through the glass ceiling of goth. 9 out of 10" Terrorizer
"a release which has sparked my interest in this scene (especially in the UK) yet again and will have found its way into my CD player not for the last time" Walls of Fire (germany)
"Rock DJs who play dark clubs should incorporate Killing Miranda into their sets and to the rest of the black cloaked people I say this: Shake a leg and "consummate" until you fall over. 8.9 out of 10"- Metal Factory (Swizerland)
"These days, the Brits sound more like Rammstein, Zeromancer or KMFDM, so more of a mix of hard guitars and electronics"- Obliveon.de (germany)
"They inject their music with a mixture of electrical and rocking Beats... which celebrate to animate." Gothic Online.de (germany)
"Killing Miranda present themselves as both powerful and thrilling with their most current album! Goth-tuned avantgarde from the genre's fatherland"- Gothic Magazine (germany)
"The Brits are on the loose! ...like a wild marriage of NIN and STABBING WESTWARD " Musik Terrorverlag.de (germany)
"Listen to songs like ‘Conspiracy Theory’, ‘Embrace’, ‘No More Love Songs’, ‘Bastard/ Heretic’, ‘Boy Meets Gun’ and try to sit still on your seat. " Gothtronic (holland)
"Killing Miranda have provided an album that although littered with 80s ideals is one that also provides a fresh outlook on a genre that is perhaps not as dead as the children that worship it look." Live 4 Metal (UK)
"Fans of Marilyn Manson, Tool and in some cases Incubus take heed, for any of these bands could become the direction that Killing Miranda seem to be expanding towards."- Gothicrevue (US)
Buy the bastard now from HMV and selected Virgin Megastores.

"There's really no reason why Killing Miranda shouldn't be able to soar to greater heights with their third album. They might even smash through the glass ceiling of goth." Terrorizer (UK)
"I dare say if the record had Manson written on it, it would be played up and down the radio. Yes, Killing Miranda produced a modern album which wonderfully combines electronica and Rock. " Metal Factory (Switzerland)
"These days, the Brits sound more like Rammstein, Zeromancer or KMFDM, so more of a mix of hard guitars and electronics than bold guitar riffs and unruly party flavour. This musical mix suits them very well" Oblivion.de (Germany)

"Listen to songs like ‘Conspiracy Theory’, ‘Embrace’, ‘No More Love Songs’, ‘Bastard/ Heretic’, ‘Boy Meets Gun’ and try to sit still on your seat. " Gothtronic (holland)
"So, ‘crossing over’. It’s an interesting concept, isn’t it? When one tires of being a stroppy fish in a quiet, placid backwater, and wants to flex muscles and go on a musical rampage?" Mick Mercer (UK)
"Killing Miranda have provided an album that although littered with 80s ideals is one that also provides a fresh outlook on a genre that is perhaps not as dead as the children that worship it look." Live 4 Metal (UK)

Thanks for coming. Sorry we believed in America.
The biggie:
ONE WEEK TO THE RELEASE ON "CONSUMMATE" !
Thats right ! 25/10/04 is the UK release of the much anticipated new Album from Killing Miranda. Two years in the making and all that:
"in ‘Consumate’ they’ve certainly created something on a melodic/sonic par with Ministry or NIN"- Mick Mercer
"sure, they’ve got flavours of things like Nine Inch Nails or killing Joke or Marilyn Manson but hey, they’re got a creative X factor that’s all of their own – they should be right up there on the soundtrack to The Matrix or Underworld and on the tips of the tongues of the worldwide darkside"- Organ Magazine
"It's a riff-heavy monster which occupies a sulphurous wasteland somewhere between Killing Joke and Metallica"- Starvox
Order the bastard from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000620N18/202-4288580-5959809
Or buy it from your local network record shop including branches of HMV. Distribution is by Pinncle and the catalogue number is MOTORCD666.
And you can get a preview from the Killing Miranda Website (get to the audio page for free MP3's of "conspiracy theory" and "enter the dagon"), not to mention news of UK gigs on the forthcoming "Consummate" tour:
http://killingmiranda.com
And there's also a brand new KM LJ Community where you can get up to date info on the UK's most hated:

Hi everyone. You guys might not remember me. On the board I was known as either Phoenix or Jazz. I'm asuming that the people here are from the Goth music board....though some of you are from both of them.
Intro:
I am 15. I live in MN. I listen to Rasputina, Devics, Claire Voyant, Violet Indiana and I like a couple of songs from Switchblade Symphany, Faith and the Muse, Voltaire, Siouxise (sp. eck.) and the Banshees. As of now my CD collection is not as large as I want it to be. My hobbies are reading, painting, making things out of clay, and singing.
Yep, thats about it.

Hi... I'm not really sure if I'm a goth person, in fact I'm probably not. I'm a big fan of Collide and this community was one of the few that showed up when I did an interest search. Kick me out if I'm not posting in the right community or whatver -- I just wanted to see some other fans...
