Title: All stories must have a title. If yours does not, then title it "Untitled" or use a random song or quote from the fic. But please include one.
Author: Maybe not completely necessary. But please include it.
Pairing: Very necessary. Always include the pairing unless you want it to be a mystery (not a surprise) or if you wrote it with no pairing in mind.
Rating: Always include. Some might be offended by higher ratings.
Summary: Please don't make this say, "I suck at summaries" or something like that. Give it a brief summary, a quote from the fic, or something. Just please give a summary and tell if it's an AU (Alternate Universe) or not.
Disclaimer: Just something brief so you don't get sued, that it's not yours, it's fake, even though we all know it by now.

Optional: Authors notes, dedications, warnings, point of view, they're all optional. If it is a chapter story, please include links to all chapters or say where they can be found, like an archive or personal journal. If you're going to use an OMC (original male character) then please describe him thoroughly or include a picture as to how you percieve him. This is so people can get a visual. OMC's are very welcome.

Guidelines To Fics: The story must be under an LJ cut with the above information before it. The code for an LJ cut is: <*lj-cut text="**What It Says Here**"*> STORY <*/lj-cut*> Just remove the stars and it should work. If not, check out the FAQ here. If you're including the link to another chapter or the fic itself, then use this code: <*a href="**URL**">What It Says<**/a**> And just remove the stars. That's the key thing, no stars.

HTML In Fics: If you don't know how to make something bold, iltalicized, underlined or centered, then just go to this page and that should explain it all.

Concerning AU's: AU's are welcome. If they are considered "supernatural," say so in the summary so people know. But please keep it reasonable and realistic. As realistic as can be. Vampires, Angels, Demons, Werewolves are welcome. But let's keep it reasonable, please. Also, concerning pedophilia. This offends many people, so if your story is considered to be of the "pedophilia" genre, then say so. No massive age difference. I know that this is fiction [and therefore fake] but please keep it reasonable.

Readers and Writers: Writers, please use proper grammar and don't type like an idiot or use chatspeak. I'm sure that all of you are fairly intelligent people and know how to spell. Readers, please try to comment and review most of the fics that you read. I realize that it takes time, but if you have the time to read it, then review. And remember, it takes time for someone to write something so the least that you can do is let them know what you thought. Constructive criticism is welcome but slander is not tolerated.
