I know this is sort of bad to ask but I didn't know where else to...
There is a LJ that is for finding a beta reader, sort of like this, but it has some sort of database by type (Real Life, Original, Movies, Books, TV, etc) and then by each different thing under that and beta-readers who beta for that thing, and type and then under it like say "TV" and then "Heroes" then replies and there is a list of info in some sort of form with what they will and wont beta, what they like and don't, and how to contact them. Its huge and I'm desperate to find it as I am writing 38 fics, in about 20-25 different fandoms. Please help!

csi_bigbang is a comprehensive challenge community, asking writers to write a 15K fic over the span of a few months, and for fan artists and vidders to create accompanying graphics and fanvids for each fic. Hiya :) I write under the name Denyce & main LJ/user name: denyce Lately thankfully so, I've been productive and would like to maintain this pace—Due to RL issues my beloved beta's had to take a step back, thankfully its *good* stuff, moving and pregnancy. Anyhoo, atm I don't have a problem writing, but I won't post without a beta--though English is my first and only language, admittedly my grammar skills suck, bigtime!
Possibly for a long-term beta, whether by fandom, or overall?? Two bigbang fics are my main focus and will carry me through to May/June.
Paradise is very au schmoopy curtain fic with an established Jeff/Jensen/Chad with kids. My warning is that its crack of the very sticky sweet kind-oh & with a side of Jared/Chris. I'm in the process of writing this now. Seriously thinking of writing this for spn_j2_bigbang, but have to make the decision this week--either way it's going to be written!
A prompt/lyric fic-a-thon completed need possible quick turn around that'd be due March 1 word count: 1990, a Chris Kane centric gen/preslash piece Chris-Jensen, Chris-Dave friendship piece.
sncross_bigbang 15,000 word min. I switched up after I saw My Bloody Valentine. Now I'm working on a SPN/MBV with Tom/Dean/Sam--double the Jensen I couldn't resist!
My problem areas--many, but in general: grammer, sentence structure, commas over use-not enough, pov, and tenses.

I'm looking for 2-4 people who qualify as one or more of the following:
--An English speaker with fine grammar, spelling, and related skills.
--Someone who is good at spotting plot holes and continuity errors.
--A writer who can help me with pacing, style, wording, and other issues writers are sensitive about.
--A British individual who can tell me if anything (in the dialogue especially) is glaringly out of place from your perspective.
If you are one or more of these things, I would love to hear from you if you're able to read and beta a 4-part, 35,000-word story within a 2-and-a-half-week period. Hello everyone!
Edit: I was re-reading this to make sure there weren't any beyond-stupid mistakes, and realized that it sounded totally wrong, so I re-wrote it...So, hi, I'm a spastic rookie writer with evil plot bunnies, who throw ideas my way at the worst possible times ^^". I have half a dozen planned fics at the moment, and at the rate I'm going, they'll be a dozen very soon. My chosen fandoms are Prince of Tennis, Bleach, Harry Potter, Naruto, edit: and apparently D.Gray-Man.
The best case scenario for me would be to have a permanent beta who'd proof-read all of my stories, but I don't suppose there's someone who's familiar with all 4 fandoms, and is willing to beta, cause that's simply too good to be true, isn't it?
Ahem, let me say what kind of beta I'm looking for before I've gotten carried away again...^^" Basically, I need someone who I can discuss ideas with, and who can critisize the plausibility of my stories, my writing style, or the lack of talent to their hearts' content. I won' protest if you point out any mistakes or misused words and expressions, and so on - English is my third language, so I'm far from perfect. Just don't go being plain rude and mean about it.

What I'm in need of? Basically whatever I can get. Plot Character continuancy/sensibility. Whacked over the head and portions pointed to "Were you awake when you wrote that?" Sounding board, prodding, whatever grammar/spelling, which I'm honestly fairly good at catching in other's work and am terrible in my own. I know what I meant therefore I tend to read what it's supposed to be rather than what garble came out of my fingertips.
I'm not picky and appreciative of what help I may get, with this 7k already and just getting started and with a due date in less than a month. Read throughs for jump out things/continuancy are just as welcome appreciated if time (or lack of patience with some of my eratic writing level fluctiations) for fine tooth combing becomes an issue.
I'm well aware of my writing limitations. You're not going to insult me pointing them out. 5 of them range from age six to age 13 and the biggest one is literal brain damage from staph infection/fever that nearly killed me years ago. When I'm rested and can focus I don't do so badly at all, when I'm running on a couple hours sleep and chaos reigning around here....uhm yeah.

I'm really just looking for someone to look over the story in it's entirety and tell me if it makes sense, flows well, is consistent in both plot points and character development, etc. I think I've been a bit too immersed in the actual writing of the fic and I want to make sure that it makes sense before I post it.
