Wanted: Parts for a camaro 1982-2002
I am needing either a whole camaro or parts for restoration for mine.
I have many things available for trade if you would like. I will pick
up and haul away for you. Thanks Guywantingparts

Now...I'm posting this because I recognize his e-mail address.....and I totally know him. I don't know why on earth he's asking for parts on freecycle....he can afford to buy them. I thought about e-mailing him and saying something...but I didn't.

People can keep affording things because they're savvy with money...trading stuff you already have is cheaper than buying..sounds smart to me!

Some people keep car parts thinking they'll need them at some point and they just get shuffled to the back of the garage/shed, what have you. My ex's family was big on Camaros and thus had lots of parts hanging around for the longest of times.

Just cuz someone can afford things doesnt mean they wanna spend the money.. Plus isnt this what freecycle is about - keeping stuff out of the trash.. im sure alot of people have car parts or an old car that they would like to get rid of
