Best week in Fandom!

Welcome post.
Hey, everyone, and welcome to Best Week, the El Jay community which documents who's been having the best week in Fandom. We're not restricted to any particular fandom(s), so anyone can play.

The rules are simple. Seen something awesome/scandalous/funny/noteworthy in your fandom? We want to know! Email it to us at bestweekmods@gmail.com and every Friday we'll make a post with what's been happening, and who has been having the Best Week in Fandom.

Now, this format may sound familiar, but we promise that we are in no way affiliated with VH1 and their show 'Best Week'. We may have ~~stolen~~ borrowed the idea, but that's as far as it goes. Basically,

eclectic05 watched the show and thought, 'OMG, would it not be AWESOME if someone did that for fandom?' She mentioned it to me, and the idea was born.

So, without further ado, we declare this community open. Posting is restricted to just the mods right now, but hopefully if it takes off we can open it up further. We don't want wank here - that's what fandom_wank is for. We just want reports on what's been happening. So, in other words, we're likely to report a scandalous event, but not necessarily the backlash. Unless it's really funny.
