aralias seems to think this warrants being waved at communities in a sort of enthusiastic HEY LOOK I WROTE A THING kind of way, so... this seems like a place for it. Maybe? It's not terribly slashy but it does have the pairing of choice living together in harmony mutual loathing and bickerment, so y'all may like it. Title: Verteidigungskrieg. Rating: All Ages. Category: AU. Sub-Category: war story. Characters: REG!Nine, android!Master, Alison Cheney, Colonel von Lossberg (real historical bloke) and several author-created German types. Spoilers: Immediately follows 'Scream of the Shalka', and... err... ahm... can you spoil the Battle of Passendale? Warnings: contains a mildly intense, physical depiction of shellshock (Episode One) and implied hypnosis (Episode Two). Summary: The Doctor's as-yet-unidentified superiors send the TARDIS to Passendale, 26th July 1917, where something odd is going on. Bodies are disappearing from no-man's-land, someone's been stealing mustard gas, and one of the nurses at the field hospital is acting very strangely... Auteur's Note: Verteidigungskrieg is German for 'defensive warfare', and my favourite word in any language. Cheers to ashteth for instigation and beta-reading. Also, I apologise if my rusty GCSE German fails at any point. Episode One of Six. Episode Two of Six.

Title: Cerebellum, By Invitation Only Author: louie x Pairing: Master/Ten, Master/Donna (possible hints at past regenerations Master/Doctor) Word Count: 2247 Rating: R Summary: Donna Noble has been many places in the universe, but the last place she expected to be was downloaded -again- into someone's mind. Disclaimer: I own nothing, this is all BBC and RTD, etc etc. SPOILERS for the season 3 and season 4 finales. A/N: Written for a friend's birthday with the request of Donna and the Master bonding in some way. She gave me permission to repost publicly~ Thanks to the beta pixie for help! Noble, Donna Noble, he coos. It is a bit of a spy name, you ever think of settling down into a steady line of espionage for employment?

So, I was watching 'The Claws of Axos' again tonight, and I remembered that line from 'Last of the Time Lords' about 'remember the Axons?' So . . . the Master is effectively committing suicide (assuming he didn't, as we all hope, have a back-up plan) to avoid going along with the Doctor's plan to take him along with him in his TARDIS and live with him. And what does the Doctor do to try and talk him out of it? He reminds him of the episode in which the Doctor made a similar offer to take him along -- and then double-crossed him and left him to die in a time-loop.
That's a pretty impressive miscalculation there. Not really on the level of blowing up on third of the universe due to lack of research, but still quite impressive.

Just started a new journal (was previously "boxoftricks") and thought this would be appropriate for my first post on this community from my new journal:

Hey all, Well I've been here quite a few months now, and sadly never had much to contribute before. Well I dunno if this has been posted here before, but the other day I picked up a Doctor Who CD in a pound shop, which has on it 2 half-hour audio books, read by Nicholas Courtney and Sophie Aldred. Anyway, the first of the 2 stories is called Freedom which involves Three and the Master, so I thought I'd post it here incase anyone wants to give it a listen. It's not overly slashy, but the Brigadier does use the word "friend" when referencing what the Master was to the Doctor. Plus the Doctor takes the Master's feelings about being jailed into consideration, which made me "awwwww." Here's the download link if anyone wants it: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N2EE1KVR- Mood:tired

When the proper remixredux has rattled to its conclusion (or indeed, some little time later, to give those who participated a breather), would we as a com have any interest in a pairing specific remix fest? If you're wondering what in blazes I'm on about now, the com above explains its process better than I could. Comment and tell me yes, yes, you're in like flint or no, it's a foul idea you want none of, and you've brought good reasons why. It could be a good fic challenge, and we've not run one in a while.

One day, I trolled through thirty pages of Google Images stumbled upon a picture of Derek Jacobi when he was young. My friend brilliantly suggested that it be made into a manip for Shalkaverse. So, I come bearing a manip. ... I feel like I should apologize for that. But what can you do for a Doctor who has so very little canon? PG, since Derek Jacobi isn't wearing a shirt. ( bit by bit putting it together )

A birthday present for the lovely, charming, and, again, lovely notusachan . Because she has a soft spot for Eight/Delgado. Hell, so do I. Title: Concerning Bondage Pairing: Eight/Delgado!Master Rating: R Summary: Wibbly-wobbly timey wimey crossed time streams end up with the wrong Doctor in the Master's bed. But he doesn't care. Shameless, self-indulgent crack with a side of smut. Or possibly the other way 'round. Disclaimer: I own nothing! Nothing, I say! Quick, unbeta'ed, any mistakes are my own. ( happy birthday, denise! )

When Four took that fall off the tower And used his regenerative power The Master, with glee Said, "This new one's for me!" But, in canon, all he got was a glower

Title: Finding Out Things Author: Evilawyer Rating: PG Characters: Rani, Master, Susan Foreman Time Frame: Time War Summary: Curiosity may have killed the cat, but Susan couldn't help herself.
Like other Doctor-Master-Rani stuff I've written, there is no actual Doctor in here. He is discussed, however, and is the reason this encounter even happens. The story is here.
