An inflammatory disease of the sebaceous glands and hair follicles of the skin that is marked by the eruption of pimples or pustules, especially on the face.
![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) bepimpled is a community open to anyone who has skin problems. The posts usually deal with the topic of acne, but you're welcome to post about any other skin problems you might have as well.
It's not the most well moderated community on livejournal. The moderator likes to think people have better things to do than hassle people online about their skin problems, which they already feel bad about. Nevertheless, anonymous comments are not allowed, but any registered users can post and comment.
People who are extremely jerky will be banned, and off-topic posts (including promotion of unrelated communities) will be deleted. (Feel free to advertise on-topic communities that deal with skincare, makeup, self esteem, etc.)
There is a half assed memories section, but don't stress out about posting if you don't see something in there. Likewise, don't complain if people post the same stuff over and over again, unless you'd like to volunteer to keep up the memories section. (Just skip of it if it's a topic you've already read or commented on!)
