Thanks. I love it too. Although I think it's faux sanrio. It can't be real, it's too cheap! I got it for 150PHP, that's just 3USD.

Aw, this bento is really wonderful. I completely agree that when you can take your time and make a bento the way you'd really like to, it makes all the difference. I love to just go at a comfortable pace and really perfect how it's arranged. It just makes me feel good to work so hard on them. So, I definitely get what you're saying.

And as usual, your bento looks amazing. You have some of the best I've seen. I love your ways of organzing the boxes and the pictures you take are always great! Thanks so much for showing and I'm really glad you had such a great morning and day. ^_^

Thanks! Yes, I make it myself. Hmm...gimme a few minutes, and I'll type up a how-to. And I just looked up what a schnitzel is, wiki said it was a cutlet of meat. Seeing that definition, I don't see why you can't, because I just use pork cutlets too. :D

Sadly, it was at a local flea market, though I have seen similar boxes online on ebay. I just don't remember the seller. It also comes in Pink Hello Kitty (she has a bow instead of a flower), My Melody, and Cinnamoroll.

Yum, tonkatsu is so delish! I'll have to jump of the low carb-wagon and try it once ^.^ I also love the way you've decorated with the umeboshi!

Is it high carb? <---sucks with carbs / calorie counting. It's just pork...or are you worried about the breadcrumbs? I hope it's not, tonkatsu's too yummy to miss out on. :D

It's the crumbs. I could have made one using lc-crumb-substitute of some kind, but then I'll miss out on the potato panko bread crumbs which I guess is essential for tonkatsu. But I let myself enjoy high-carb foods once in a while though :)

I love it! I have a feeling I'll be using it a lot. It's spacious enough, yet not too large so I can control portions, especially since I want to shed a few pounds. Oh well, good luck to me ^_^;;
