Bento #98 - Putting the RAT in Ratatouille!



I can't wait to see Ratatouille! It's not out in Sweden yet :( but it has rats AND cooking so it's already a hit with me.

The thermos container holds homemade ratatouille with eggplant, zucchini, bell pepper and champignon mushrooms, and the side container has grapes, wholewheat toast with cheese and a toast, bell pepper, nori and carrot Remy. (Dang. I missed his tail. >.<;)

Post isn't up on Wererabbits yet (it's blocked at work), but there's a recipe for the ratatouille here.

i love ratatouille. i haven't seen the film yet either but i'm a foodie, so i should!

I saw the trailer/sneak preview scene and was already sold. Why oh why does it take so long for kids' movies to come out here? It's not like all kids from the age of 9 don't speak enough English to understand the un-dubbed version!

Oh he's so cute!! Lovely job! What is Ratatouille's body made from? The spoon he's holding is made from carrot? And thank you for the recipe, I've got eggplant and zucchini ripening in my garden right now.

The spoon is made from carrot and the body is toast crust :) It's from the endpiece of the toast log I had.

Homegrown veggies are the best! Do show off your results once you harvest them :)

This is SO cute. The ratatouille you made looks soooo delicious! I've never had any but now I want some after seeing this photo. Remy came out beautifully! This is really one of the coolest bentos I've ever seen. :D
