Ok noone really needs a bento but I wanted to take another chance of making a challenge bento with my beloved Sanji once more ♥ because I love him so very much lol it's sad but true, I am in love with a manga character.

I love anime and manga. I confess to having an otaku side which rears its ugly head when I’m immersed in the middle of an ongoing storyline. So when bentochallenge dubbed last week as an anime / manga challenge, I knew I had to participate, regardless of not being able to food cut-outs with cheese and veggies.

Which led to my next problem. Who do I do? My copying skills suck. Oh sure, I can make faces on food, but copying an existing character? Going through my list of favorites, I knew I was in for a tough challenge. Roy Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist? What do I cut-out for his blue uniform? Sanji from One Piece? Same problem. Initial D’s AE86 Hachi Roku! That’s just white and black. But cutting out something as detailed as a car is not something I feel like I could do.

To make the long story short, I picked something easy enough: basic shapes, colors that can be found in food, and non-human from an anime I loved. Card Captor Sakura, I choose you! While I can’t do a Li Syaoran cut-out to save my life, more so Sakura in her various Tomoyo outfits, there’s always Keroberos to the rescue!

I don't really have a lot of time to make bento these days but when I saw the challenge I had to make time. So here's my lunch. Nothing fancy but proof that sometimes first loves do last.

The only anime I can think of (except for Pokémon) is Totoro and Spirited Away. I'm just not much into anime I'm afraid... But anyway here's a Spirited away Totoro...

Totoro is obvious (once you accept that this misshapen THING is Totoro at all) and the Spirited Away? Let's see if ANYONE gets the reference *L*

My little sister loves Crayon Shinchan so today's bento was Shinchan, lol. She loved it. :3 I've never seen this anime but I hear it's vulgar/amuseing.. Anyways, I had really fun making this one, I only have one more planned out and then I'll stop m(_ _)m lol. Sorry for posting too much.

1st challenge post, m(_ _)m. I got excited about the comm and started working out ideas, this is my first for this challenge, ended up having a dinner time bento ^^;) ... it didnt come out exactly as I would have liked. I can't cut nori well.

My favorite anime character from my favorite show, Ranma 1/2

On a bed of ramen noodles we have P-Chan, made from a nori cut-out head, mini pork buns for eyes, a pickled ginger snout, and a grated carrot scarf.  There is some Gyoza sauce in the bottle.
