Ben McKenzie attends The Pediatric IBD Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s “Rock-N-Reel” event on Sunday afternoon (June 14) in Culver City, Calif.

The event honored producer Alexandra Milchan-Lambert and production company Relativity Media’s Scott Lambert for their work with children with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

On the red carpet, the 30-year-old actor rubbed shoulders with Dr. Marla C. Dubinsky, Director of the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Ben will be back this fall with a second season of Southland on NBC!

I know everyone is fretting about the ratings (although I think it's great that Southland won the demos last Thursday), but I thought some might take comfort from the fact that the show has been one of the most popular downloads on hulu.com for the past several days.   Not just that, but the reviews there from viewers have been fantastic.  I get the impression that, in addition to the ratings, the network is paying attention to those kinds of factors.  Michael Cudlitz alluded to that fact in that radio interview he and Ben did; I believe he urged people to watch on hulu if they weren't watching live, and he talked about awareness that people see shows in all kinds of ways in this digital age.

Just thought y'all would like to know.
