Gothic Bellydancing (or "Raqs Gothique") is a growing phenomenon worldwide, and other chat groups and LJs exist for this genre of dance. However, most of them are very US orientated, and while some of the discussions are relevant to dancers worldwide, some are not. In particular, this LJ community has been set up so that British and / or European gothic bellydancers can start networking and planning events together, or just supporting each other.
All gothic bellydancers, or dancers of an openminded nature have something to offer this group, so, no matter where you're from or what you wear when you dance, or what music you dance to, you'll find a dark, inviting and strangely alluring home at Gothic Bellydance UK.
