beforethebeard... reason? Just something that popped up in conversation in davyjonespotc ... and I liked it. WARNING: Content can be... wierd. Anything from G to very hard R/Nc17 stuff. Be wary. we'll rate as best we can though.
I decided to start a community dedicated to Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman crew. Why not, aye? I know there's one out there already,
davyjonespotc (who kick arse and i'm still a member), but we could always use more. Hell, Barbossa has at least four. heh. (he deserves it too, sexy bastard). This place is for indulgence. Post your fics, artwork, fangirly/boyish Squeels, rant and rave about the movies, anything as long as it has something to do with our betentacled Captain or the Dutchman crew. Happy, Sad, Comedy, Angst, Sex, Violence, Fluff, I don't care. Pleasure is what this place is about.
Guidelines:
Courtesy above all else. This might make me a mod-nazi but I cannot suffer rudeness. Like Thumper said, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
I absolutely will not tolerate racism, sexism (man or woman hating is childish) or homophobia here. Accept that there are people of different races, sexes, and sexual orientations in the world, or get off the net.
Please Warn about Spoilers if your posting something, well, spoilerish. If you haven't seen DMC yet you really shouldn't be here, lol, so we won't worry about that. AWE is a different story though.
Give credit where credit is due.
Membership is needed to post, due to spammage.
Rate your fics. Warn if there's non-con, excessive violence, that sort of thing.
Hide lengthy posts behind cuts, ie long fics, loads of pics, and especially, SPOILERS.
Most of the guidelines are fairly general, and I'm not overly evil, so if you make a mistake, don't worry, it'll be fixed and you'll be forgiven. heh. I made this place for freedom of posting. :D
