About:This community is for the posting of pictures of Dr. Carson Beckett, the chief surgeon on Stargate Atlantis, and the actor who plays him - Paul McGillion. Pictures will hopefully be posted everyday to fulfill the daily portion of our name. Wallpapers, icons, etc, are all welcome.

And to make this clear - this will be a slash friendly comm. All pairings, though the central focus is on Carson. Please respect that people here are looking to see Paul/Carson and that people here might be fond of male/male pairings; there will be no flaming. I see a flame and there better be a marshmallow nearby.

There are several other dailies communities - [info]atlantis_daily, [info]sheppard_daily, [info]mckay_daily, [info]mcshep_daily, and bm_daily. If you'd like to get more pictures of the boys or Atlantis in general and haven't yet found these communities, check them out.
There is also another group, [info]carsonlovers, which is for all carson related stuff. It is, however, slash-free. If this group doesn't suit you, they might. :)

Rules

1) Everyone can post pictures as they feel. If that means you'd like to do one big post, go for it, though a warning for dialup users is requested. If you'd like to do several little posts to spread it out, that's fine too.

2) There must be pictures, manipulations, or icons of Carson or Paul in the post. Appropriate questions and discussions can take place but we're here for the eyecandy. :)

3) Please respect people's flists. LJ-cut anything that's large or if you're posting more than one picture. For icons, I'd prefer if anything over the first five is put under an lj-cut.

Manipulations/pictures that include nudity are to be lj-cut at all times and must include a warning so no one mistakenly clicks on it at an inappropriate time.

- If you do not know how to use an lj cut or are having problems with it, ask someone. I promise I'm friendly though I admit I'm a bit strange.

4) Do. Not. Hotlink. Just no. Those sites cost a lot of money and if you steal their bandwidth, it's just not cool. There are places to upload pictures if you don't have your own webspace, or alternatively, if you have something you'd really like to share but lack space, ask. Someone might be able to host the image for you.
- Please credit websites if you didn't take the screencap yourself.

5) Spoilers. Yes, this again. Please, if there's something that spoilery, lj-cut it and put up a warning. I know from personal experience that sometimes I forget which images are spoilery, so if someone else forgets, please leave a polite message for the person to let them know you'd like it to be put under a cut, and if that isn't done in a timely fashion, contact a mod. If I find that this is a chronic problem even after I've talked to a person, I will ban people. This goes for other wankage. This list is wank free. If you've got a problem with someone, take it offlist.
