I personally believe icons do not belong to those who created them; I understand that's not a popular belief but that's how beautiful_sh1t stand out from the rest. Unless the icon maker is the sole owner of the images that are used (as in being the photographer), everyone has a right to use the icons however they wish. I pooh-pooh at those silly rules of no: "editing, claiming as your own, etc..etc.." when the images they used are not theirs to begin with. The only 'rules' of this community are the following: + All the icons that are presented in this community can be edited unless stated otherwise. + Credit is NOT mandatory. No credit? No problem! It is only common sense that I DO NOT own the images that are shown; therefore, I DO NOT CLAIM them as my own. DISCLAIMER: All the images that are presented here are the intellectual property of the creator. Images are defined as those that are used as "bases" for icons/banners only. If you feel I have infringed on your rights (you being the artist AKA photographer), give me a chance to remove the relevant content. Thank you. |
