[04 Feb 2009|06:36am] lovepeace137 [ mood | wistful ] Wow. A lot can happen when you move and get married. I really didn't mean to totally abandon this community- it was one of my favorite creations. It was a huge part of my life, as is my love for the Beatles. But I don't have a reliable internet connection anymore, and I've been so busy, so I haven't been able to update as I would have liked. It seems the last post was on my birthday, just over a month ago- that's not too bad. I'm glad people continued to post in my absence at all. I love the new icons that have been posted. My husband was not a Beatles fan, but I have succeeded in getting him hooked on several of their songs. I still love them just as much, with a little bit more passion for John Lennon's solo career. I moved to a different state on October 7, two days before his birthday, and got married on December 12, three days after the anniversary of his death. I wish I could have done a memorial post like I did last year. In short, I've really missed this community. ~Misty Make A Sad Song Better

Beatles fabric [07 Oct 2008|09:52am] jkg_vader Beatle-Fans, padawansguide found some GREAT Beatles fabric here: http://equilter.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/st_main.html?catid=113 It is pretty pricey (over $8 a yard) but it's the only fabric of its type that I've ever seen, and beleive me, I've looked! I never realized the writers I'd get. Honestly, everyone is such an amazing writer, and I am so lucky to have the chance to write with them and to have them as a part of my RPG. First I have to say the girl that played Sexy Sadie was great - kind of put me in mind of Janis Joplin (obviously that is a plus for me) of course the music was great and most of it was very well done. I'm not a purist by any stretch of the imagination - I just don't like most remakes. I thought it was worth watching and I loved that lots of it reminded me of my youth (yes, I'm that old). Some of it was just too weird, even for me but overall I have to say I thought it was well worth the time. Make A Sad Song Better
