He looks so Boromir-like in the second pic! (I barely recognised him in the others *innocent grin*)

Tell me, O muse, of that ingenious hero who travelled far and wide... *dies*

Who do I have to kill to have The Odyssey on film? With Sean of course, and Elijah as Telemachus if it's not asking too much...

Re: The Odyssey
Actually, a film version (mini-series) of The Odyssey was produced for U.S. television, in 1997 I believe, by Hallmark studios, starring the handsome Armand Assante as Odysseus and the lovely Greta Scacchi as his faithful wife...it was wonderfully done, includes other fine actors (Christopher Lee is in the cast), was filmed in the Mediterranean and is well worth watching. I know Amazon.com has the video version, it was released a couple of years ago.

I'm quite looking forward to Troy with Sean, of course, and trust it will be amazing...I enjoyed the Troy pics posted here very much.

Sorry to post as "anonymous" but although I check the site almost daily for Sean pics, I've no idea what a "LiveJournal" entails, or how to use it or post pics of Sean that I have. If anyone has any helpful advice on this for a newbie, it would be most kind.

Thanks!

Re:
ah that is easy. Hit Print Screen and then paste it into your graphics program (corel, adobe, Paint Shop Pro, ect) and then crop the pic out.

Let me know if you have problems with it.

MacBean in "Troy"
i like the hair. much better than in "National Treasure". the first two pics are best. especially the second one. he looks so intense and i love that. picture 3: a look of compassion, or sympathy. i have to wonder what that's related to. picture 4: a look of awe. is it the Trojan Horse they're looking at? picture 6: i hate the helmet. anything that obscures his handsome face is bad. but the helmet look--nope. he just doesn't look good in hats, period. but i really do like him with a beard. it may sound corny but it makes him look even more rugged.

storywise, it's a great moment for Odysseus when Achilles comes back because it's Odysseus's who convinces him to. maybe it's a big moment for SB in the movie. i hope so.

Thank you so, sooo much for posting these pics!

My father used to be obsessed with Greek Mythology and so when I was a little girl, instead of growing up with Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella, I grew up with Odysseus and Troy. When I heard a movie was being made, I got really excited. And when I heard that Sean Bean was to be Odysseus, I nearly wet my pants. My favorite actor playing my favorite Greek Mythology hero..... I cannot WAIT for this movie!

So thank you, thank you, THANK YOU again for these pictures. They've truly made my week!
