arcangelmichael.This community is for those of us in the BDSM scene who are within the TNG age range (which is generally 18 - 35 but it can vary). This is where we can share information and talk about the lifestyle as it pertains to the younger generation.
We are called TNG because we are just that. We are the next generation. We are the future of BDSM. We are the ones who will be running the BDSM groups in the future and we will shape the way that the community will be.
Jay Wiseman, at a seminar in New Orleans hosted by NOBLE and SABLE, said something about us. He said that BDSM is not going to go away, that it stll has legs to stand on. He said that the proof in this is because of the TNG groups that exist around the United States. We are indeed the future of the lifestyle and it will survive because of us.
We do not exist to separate ourselves from the older generation. We exist to provide a bridge between the younger people and the older, more experienced people in the lifestyle. We exist to make it comfortable for new young kinksters to join and learn about the scene. We exist to provide education to those who are young and who may be somewhat confused about their kinky tendencies. We exist to ease their minds and to tell them that they are not alone and that there is a place in the community for them. We exist to help the younger people face the challenges that they do within the BDSM Lifestyle.
You must be at least 18 years old to join and you must do one of the following to become a member. This community is now set as having EXPLICIT ADULT CONTENT. This means that your age MUST be in your profile as 18 or over. If not, you will not be able to access this community. The old approval process is no longer necessary as LiveJournal checks it automatically. There's no longer a need for a moderator to approve you.
