About:

This a Brokeback Mountain rating community. I couldn't find any other on lj, so here it is. The idea is, you tell the members a bit about yourself, and we tell you which Brokeback character we think you are most like. Basically, the rules are:

Applying
1.) Join.
2.) Fill out the application. Please place the application behind a Livejournal cut, and put "I swear" somewhere in your subject line so I know you read the rules.
3.) Answer honestly. Do no attempt to get rated as your favorite character, the point of a rating community is for the other members to tell you who they think you are like. You're free to have your own opinions of yourself, so there's no need to be sore. This is for fun.
4.) Please be thorough with your application. One and two word answers aren't the most useful (unless like our friend Ennis you happen to always have the right two words).
5.) 30 days after being stamped, you are allowed to reapply.

Stamping
1.) You will be stamped after you have 7 matching votes. If I don't see that you have your seven, please contact me at

planetgal471! Sometimes this step requires patience. I'll do my best to get you your seven!
2.) Stamps will be made as needed by me, but will not be hosted by me. That means no hotlinking of stamps!

Voting
1.) You do not have to be stamped to vote! But you do have to join.
2.) Bold your votes, or ask how if you don't know.
3.) Don't just vote by the majority! Stand up for what you see in someone's application.
4.) Try to put more than just the character's name, but also an explanation of why you voted the way you did.
5.) If you can't decide on just on character, you can vote for two.

How to Help the Community
1.) Promote it to your friends if you enjoy it!
2.) Affiliate with us.
3.) Use a link-back banner in your userinfo.
4.) VOTE in other people's applications. Without this, the community WILL NOT WORK!
5.) Enjoy yourselves! This is for fun.
