General Info
Membership is moderated to keep out potential trolls.
Mods have final say as to which journals are approved, but here are some things that will DEFINITELY get your journal rejected:
~Being less than a month old (if you are a long-standing LJ member just using a new journal, send us the name of your old journal and we'll approve the new one based on the creation date of your "normal" one)
~Being used solely for LJ roleplaying characters and/or promos
Entries are moderated to prevent uncut spoilers from being posted.
If we reject an entry, we'll tell you why. If you can edit it to make it follow the rules, we'll USUALLY approve it the second time.
House Rules
1) Spoilers are allowed BUT THEY MUST BE BEHIND A CUT!!!
If you don't know how to do cut:
IF YOU POST A LIVEFEED SPOILER, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU NOTE THAT IT'S FROM THE FEEDS IN THE SUBJECT LINE AND THE LJ-CUT TAG!!!!! In case you couldn't tell, this is very important.
2) No flame wars. Opinions are one thing- blatantly ripping into someone, insulting the other members, and name-calling is another. We will not tolerate it. Anyone involved will be subject to possible banning.
3) This will be a homophobia and racism free zone. Saying "Marcellas/Beau/Will/Ivette was gay" or simply mentioning one's race is one thing. Negative remarks based solely on sexuality or race will not be tolerated.
4) No "campaign" posts. We don't need 500 posts per day about "I LOVE SO-AND-SO!!!" or "VOTE FOR SO-AND-SO FOR AMERICA'S CHOICE". Also, we will not be accepting posts along the lines of "I don't understand why everyone loves so-and-so when I HATE them!" HOWEVER, you may debate your choices and favorite contestants in the comments of episode discussion posts or posts dedicated to opinions on the HG's.
5) Ads and promos for other communities will be approved or rejected on a case-by-case basis. Hint: Any post for a community NOT related to BB will be rejected. We will also not accept any journals for membership if they are clearly only used for promos.
6) ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO TO THE PERSONAL JOURNALS/EMAILS OF ANY OF THE MODS WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS COMMUNITY!!! You may or may not be banned- that is up to the moderator/s you contact. If you need to contact us, you can email at lj.bb.us(at)gmail.com .
Also, do not go to other members' personal journals just to insult, berate, or otherwise vex them. If they chose to report you to us, you will be banned from this community.
If you break these rules, the mods reserve the right to ban you on a case-by-case basis. This may be done with or without a prior warning.

What time is it on?
Sunday 8 eastern & pacific, 7 central
Tuesdays 9 eastern & pacific, 8 central
Thursday 8 eastern & pacific, 7 central
I missed/forgot to record tonight's episode! Where can I find it online?
If you're in the USA, you can watch it on Innertube. Go to the CBS website and follow the links. If you're outside of the US, you can try any of the several tv torrent sites and Youtube. If you can't find them there jokersupdates.com has recaps.
What makes my post a spoiler?
Revealing the names of HOH's, nominees, evicted houseguests, POV winners, whether or not POV was used, surprises and twists, and America's Choice results are all spoilers before the event airs in all time zones. Remember, Eastern and Central time zones see the episode before the western parts of the country. If you're not sure if you'd be spoiling or not, put it behind a cut. Better safe than sorry.
How would I know all that stuff before the episode aired in my time zone?
Some people watch the 24/7 live feed. If you watch enough, you pick up important info such as HOH, nominees, POV info, America's Choice, and twists days before the episode airs.
What does HOH, POV, HG, FOTH, DR, etc. mean?
HOH- Head of Household
POV- Power of Veto
HG- Houseguest
DR- Diary Room
BR- Bedroom
LR- Living Room
AC- America's Choice
FOTH- Fish/Flames/Front Of The House (the feed's 'screensaver')
