The bay area hasn't historically had a community that's totally off-topic, and just for the sake of fun and community.
Well - now it does.
Rules:
Snarkiness is okay, real meanness isn't.
If it's not worksafe and not kidsafe, put it behind a cut and label it.
Icons need to be worksafe/kidsafe. Pics of babies nursing are worksafe.
Images more than 500x500 should be LJ cut.
There is no "on-topic" or "off-topic" except that if you're selling stuff, it should be available for pick up directly within the bay area; links to your ebay sales aren't on topic unless what you're selling is directly bay area related.
It is okay to post bay area related stuff, too.
It is okay to use this forum to ask folks to meet you for pizza and beer, especially if it's good pizza and beer.
You don't need to be from the bay area to post here.
