I received some bad news last night that Haku Baikou has passed on. I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with her work or her website, but she was one of the few spirited pioneers in the Rurouni Kenshin Fandom. She created a beautiful website that helped connect the fans in RK and even stimulated the fandom with contests and her own fanfiction.
If you would like more information about her or to contribute to the scholarship they are setting up in her memory, please go here.
I'm deeply, deeply saddened by this and I hope you guys can keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

But I have decided that I will finish Battousai High and dedicate it to her. My aim is for at least one page a month.

I am toying with the idea of someone else helping me with Battousai High.
Bottom line: I need a colorist.
Payment: None. I have no moneys. T_T But you will get to see the first page to BH. That's a plus. =D And I will put your name on the Battousai High website in the banner as colorist.
How often: Twice a month. If that is too much, let me know. But let's start with that.
If you're interested... just drop me an IM, an email, or comment. I'll need to see pieces you have done, and will give you an old page of BH to color and see how it turns out.

Hello. I just have to say that Battousai high is awsome. Also, I know the whole series from start to finish (Rurouni Kenshin) including Samurai X: Trust, Betrayal, and Reflection (Recollection)... and that I'm new...and need friends! ^-^' hehe...

Alright, I guess all of the comments I recieved got me in a creative mood.. lol I just wrote this off the top of my head, feel free to read it. It's my first fanfic ever... lol! I'm really nervous about it, but eh, anyway. Here's the summary for ya.
Kaoru walks home one evening only to be followed, and ambushed. Although help arrives in the form of Yahiko Myojin, it doesn't seem to be enough and their lives are soon in peril, until a mysterious stranger shows up to their rescue. Upon waking, Kaoru finds herself in a strange home and unable to leave. As time passes,she slowly grows a fondness for the man that saved her life. Set in modern times and rated R for language and such... BKK

Okay, I was really bored, and I found a picture I drew of Kenshin and Kaoru a long time ago. I scanned the paper, but it doesn't come out detailed, maybe it's in the way I shaded it. I dunno.
