BSG Mega Panel from Friday
The BIG BSG panel on Friday was held in the Marriott Atrium Ballroom and as far as I can tell, it was FULL. Amazing!

Can I also add that the lighting in that room was FANTASTIC? I didn't need my giant flash one time. Gorgeous!






Did any one catch the new guy's name? I totally missed it in both panels, and I can't find him listed in any of the episodes he talked about having been in previously. He's apparently got a much bigger role in S 4.5.


















Tahmoh has some great photos on his iPhone right about now. ;)














BEST. COL. TIGH. impression EVER. That guy was so awesome, truly. We met him at the party later and he was just great!

And I totally didn't recognize him at all. I had to IMDB him and look for a name I recognized after I got back because I also couldn't find him on the AMSF website from D*C.

I do believe that is what it says. As to what it is referencing...no idea. Now if it said "Healthy Sturdy Staff", I could guess. ;)

I thought it was HEALTHSOUTH at first, cause they use the same font.

I don't know what it is...but Tahmoh is more hot to me in real life than as Helo on BSG. I am so much more turned on by him seeing those photos at the panel than any time he is on screen!

You're not wrong. I think its because they make his hair so short for Helo. He looks better with it not so close cropped. And his penchant for picking PERFECT hats is spectacular.

Physical copies of these? If you hit the link for 'Full Gallery', you can buy whichever ones you want in prints, there's a full store. Hell, you can even buy them on coffee mugs, if you want :)

They're really high quality prints, I tried several other services before jumping onto Smugmug.

No ftp availability at the moment since my hardware is at the homestead and I am at the office - it is all good, I took your suggestion and pulled the ones that you told me to go look at from smugmug and that worked beautifully!

For that ballroom? Please do! Actually both rooms in the Marriott, the one they had Tahmoh in on Sunday morning had great lighting too. I appreciate not having to use a flash, and I'm sure the actors appreciate it too.

I told him, And he thinks your on drugs or something ;)

The reason being, The hotel gave us a stage twice as big as requested. Which meant we did not have enough lighting to cover the whole stage. I helped him focus the stage. Suffice to say we had some terrible shadows. The light was not even remotely even across the stage.

True that it wasn't even, but it was powerful enough to take decent pictures without a slower shutter which makes for blurs when people MOVE. Which, you know, they do. The shadows didn't bother me that much, really.

None of us is ever happy with our work because if we're any good at it, we're kind of perfectionists. I think you guys did a great frakking job, so there. :-P
